This movie based on Gujrati novel written by Saurabh Shah, in Gujarati news paper which based on Maharaj Lible case appeared in Bombay High Court in 1862. There's lots of agitation against the movie by Vaishnav sect followers after announcement of this movie, 2days back High Court given clearance to release the movie.

Actually we Sanatani accept whatever wrong is happening so Maharaja ko koi zyada masla nahi hoga. Lekin Humare Barah ki star cast ko threats aane lage. Actually ye movie MUSLIM WOMEN ke haq me hai. Jaise maharaj me thoda exaggeration hai to Himare Barah me bhi hai. I hope muslims to accept whatever is wrong and rectify it the way Hindus do😊

और बड़े ही शरम की बात है कि तब भी 1862 में भी लोग करसनदास जी के खिलाफ थे... और आज भी हैं। सच में उनका डायलॉग की मेरे अपने ही लोग मेरे खिलाफ है में लडूं भी तो किनके लिए... ये बहुत ज्यादा कड़वा तथ्य है। इंडिया में लोग इस फिल्म का रिव्यू इतना नेगेटिव दे रहे हैं और साउथ की महाराजा फिल्म की तारीफ कर रहे हैं। जबकि उस फिल्म में अनुराग कश्यप अपनी बेटी के साथ अपने गुंडों को रेप करने देता है (बहुत ही बुरी तरह से दक्षिण कोरियन फिल्म oldboy से प्रेरित)... उस फिल्म को इमेजिनेशन के नाम पर सराहा जा रहा है और जो सत्य है उसकी निंदा की जा रही है... 🙇 सच में... किसके लिए लड़ा जाए जब अपने लोग ही अपने खिलाफ हैं।

@@shivaShakti360 It's not about being different but the fact that they are not discriminating to react to only those movies/series having Hindu related content. They are equally reviewing things that shows the negativity of Islam. So they are not being hypocrites.
