Although people from south are more rooted to their culture and religion they tend not to bring religion outside of their houses which makes people live as Indian citizens. Sadly religions and castes are one of the prime reasons for people not being uniformly developed.

Dear Moazzam, Thanks for the vlog. This is a fact that states of South India had not faced invasions like that of states of North India. People grow socially, intellectually, culturally only in peaceful environment. As such educated public in South India exercised their right to vote rationally after independence. Invaders came mostly from north or north west frontiers of India. They went mostly upto Delhi or went a little ahead for looting & returned. As such People of the north India had to keep themselves always ready for defense. Only during Maharaja Ranjit Singh's rule the trend of invasions from north India was not only stopped but trend was reversed. People of Panjab used to invade Afghanistan, Iran & other central Asian nations. The roots of Sanatan Dharma is in South India because of peaceful environment prevailed there. Four Vedas & six Shastras written in Sanskrit language are basics learnings of Sanatan Dharma. Sankrant language is considered as mother of all Indian languages like Marathi, Panjabi, Bangla Asamia & many others. Intellectuals are divided about word Hindu. Some are of the opinion that Hindu word ( not good word in invaders' language )was used by invaders for inhabitants of this area. Just like our Panjabis while staying in Arab nations together call the rich Shekh as Badhu ( not a good word in Arabic language ). Some intellectuals are of the opinion that people living at the river Sind belt were given the name Hindu. So everyone became a Hindu National while living in Hindostan or Hindustan irrespective whether the person is a follower of Sanatan Dharma or a follower of Chrtianity. As massive majority living here were followers of Sanatan Dharma, later the word was attached with Sanatan Dharma followers. Continous peaceful environment is a necessity for the socially, culturally, economically & educationally uplifting the society coupled with sincere, visionary leadership. Thanks.

Kerala where, I am born, brought up. All residents get free medical service from GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND UPTO plus 11 +2 it is free. All citizen in kerala speak, 3 languages along with naturally speak hindi, every body understand and speak English. Women empowered 50 % at approximately work in government service, or MEDICAL services, nursing, , bank, space police force, All the 3 armed service. Kerala best in India.

South indians love north indian foods. North Indians love south Indian Idly and Dosa. Now-a-days, north Indians live in south and they understand and speak south indian languages(after making a good enough living in south), at-least the literate population. The less literates who do lower end jobs in the society they work closely with the lower end strata of south indian states AND they learn the local languages faster; because it is the question of their survival in the south (because the less literates of the south cannot speak Hindi). But .... North OR South .... India is the best and we are heading in the right direction. As far as the Pak is concerned, they should first focus on quality education which helps their kids to see the world in its real sense. Religious education should be limited to their homes for following their personal customs only. World is moving towards a greater world order which is peace, happiness, health and prosperity AND getting OUT of the medieval mindset of wars for imposing and converting forcibly to any religion or ideology. It takes generations of children to get educated in this manner to reach where India is heading today. It is not 1 OR 2 years efforts. It is decades of effort bearing fruits today for India. Long story short .... it is quality education that builds the future.

South india is very liberal in religious sense. Their population growth is 0 and economic growth rate is above 7%. Their per capita gdp at ppp is around 14,000 dollars. They are lagging middle income countries like russia and china by 10 years and western world by 20 years. Position would have been much better but for the discrimination shown by the central govts dominated by the hindi belt. They are considered as socially stable areas and growth orientated.
