Paladin doesn't need pillars 

not exactly easy to replicate, but man was it fun to do
Relic of Mass (Starstorm 2 mod) - "Increase maximum health by 100%. Reduce acceleration and deceleration by a factor of 8."
Basically, you have ice physics forever.
That + extreme acceleration from repeating Paladin's M2 + Shadowfade from Strides of Heresy letting me float + a few extra jumps + extra height from Paladin's air M2 = Skipping the pillars entirely and going straight to Mithrix. Probably could have done it smoother, but oh well.
I died to Mithrix in that fight (got cocky and jumped right into his big smash), but I wish I could've seen if anything changed from skipping the pillars.
