I have already stated this several of times, I will be there for the early access, this game looks a ton of fun and there is clearly a passion for detail.
@@devastatheseeker9967judging by the statue that looks like it behind it and the pyramid, along with the fact that it makes powerful attacks and has a huge, open area already implies that it's gonna be some sort of boss/legendary/fixed encounter that respawns after a while, not just some species
I really like how the team seems to listen to the feedback from players. They really fixed the complaint about the pals not being super active when fighting.
So, not sure if other pals have done this yet or not, but I think Anubis confirmed that our Pals can learn more elemental attacks besides their natural element, just thinking about the Ice attack that it used. Also I am really looking forward to fusing/breeding Anubis with Maraith to get a Mystic Element Anubis! True God of Death Vibes!
This is my favorite video yet because it shows a really complex fight. You ended up using several pals (and one meatshield) but still managed to get him. If you weren't paying attention you might have gotten KO'd yourself! I can't wait for January!
One thing I would suggest changing is the timing of the battle grunts. Its moves have a long wind-up and triggering the grunts to occur at the start of the animation - during the wind-up - instead of when the attack actually happens makes it feel disjointed. Syncing the battle grunts with the timing of the attacks would make it feel more polished and lend a better sense of weight and impact to its attacks.
Okay, this Pal has a really interesting sound! I like that it sounds almost human, because it feels like a nod to the Egyptian god Anubis, being half jackal half human. This Anubis Pal is an instant favorite of mine. KING OF THE UNDERWORLD, LET'S GO! Edit: I JUST REALIZED THIS DUDE WAS ONE-SHOTTING THE PLAYER'S WHOLE TEAM FUUUUUUUUUUU-
@@chaotixthefox Oh, I know. I was only talking about its sound. Like, you know how Lucario is also designed after Anubis, yet he sounds more dog-like? I had assumed PalWorld would take a similar route, prior to watching this video. 😅
Wow, it.... Even uses Lucario's running animation. Y'know usually you guys are pretty good about doing original designs that feel different from pokemon but ones like this kind of invite the comparison
I don't remember being taught about this in my Egyptology class. What is he going to do, beat the shit out of you if your heart is found heavy with sin on the scales of judgment?
While bring a cool idea, I dont think the video portrays that kind of character. The player was just going up to it as you would in Legends Arceus to beat up an Alpha Lucario. But I would love for a game to have spirits that track the players immortal decisions of the past and seeks the immortal players out to demand atonement.
I know I shouldn't watch this bc every time I come here I end up sad bc I have to wait until 2024 to play it, but still here I am every time they release a new pal
Just think of it this way, at present we are halfway to Christmas and on Steam the game is being advertised as releasing in January 2024! That means with each weekend and pair of PalDeck updates that passes we are one week closer to the game's launch!
I'm starting to think it's like Final Fantasy 13-2's monster collecting you just dominate them and then they work for you with a dash of Monster Hunter for some reason that last one is on a gut feeling
I hope we'll get other pals who're just straight up named after a mythical figure/being, like Ra, Apep, Wyvern, Kappa, Nidhogg, Thunderbird, or even the Asiatic dragons the Longs/Lungs
While I'm on the fence on the more...visibly ethical implications surrounding this game, basically taking the implications of pokemon to their logical extremes, I have to admit that the gameplay looks freaking boss and does what Gamefreak has been completely unable to provide in over twenty years.
This gives me the “concept and trailers looks like An amazing game but something somewhere in the game ruins it” vibes, I have felt this happen so many times, I seriously hope I’m horribly wrong, Pokémon needs competition… a real one.
I like how the gun is doing like 4 damage per shot, the player's pals are doing from tens to a couple hundreds, and the enemy pal is doing several hundreds to thousands, lol.
you know, one of these videos I would like to see a capture fail. If there isn't one and all it takes is we do enough damage to the creatures and get a guarantee 100% capture then that doesn't feel as rewarding.
Anubis' cry/sound is the only one I find to not really fit in with the rest of the Pals. It's kinda immersion breaking since it isn't as pleasant. Though maybe I'm in the minority about feeling that way. Still really looking forward to this.
honestly looks really nice but shooting the monsters seems kinda comical... maybe have magic attacks and spells instead, or some special energy weapon that drains them of energy.
