Fuck this comment section is hilarious. Complaining they apparently ripped off Wolf Alice, as if Wolf Alice is in anyway original sounding or invented wearing tank tops. 🤣

I know right! I don’t hear the comparison but people have been moaning about every band at Glastonbury this year no one’s safe apparently

Don't understand the comparison at all. I adore Wolf Alice and Pale Waves and they are such different bands 😂

Her unique voice needs a little help outside of the studio. Every other singer has background vocals like this. Heather is great and the new stuff is awesome.

Sounds like a breath issue. MIKA had the same issue at one point. He'd get winded singing live.

If I wanted to listen to Hole or Wolf Alice I’d do that. First they go from ripping everything the 1975 did on their first album, to Hole and now this weird Wolf Alice pastiche and using a backing track.
@vera8415
@vera8415 Год назад
🥴 like The 1975, Hole and Wolf Alice are soooo original and never took inspiration from anyone else. Breathe in, breathe out, all artists do that.
@pierreiskanderofficial

You'll look so dumb, knowing their first album was co-produced by Matty Healy.
@ESCSam
@ESCSam Год назад
You do know Matty Healy produced their first album right and signed them if he had a problem with them 'ripping' The 1975 off would he have signed them, I love The 1975 but let's not act like they are original themselves.

Massive Wolf Alice fan and don't see this as like them at all. Much poppier, closer to Olivia Rodrigo in genre but with a touch of alt/indie in it. Anyway its a great tune!

How is even lipsyncing allowed in Glastonbury? Appaling.
@vera8415
@vera8415 Год назад
Learn the differnece between lipsyncing and back tracking. The studio version sounds multilayered, back tracking helps to imitate the same effect in live version, as simple as that
@Limes_not_Lemons
@Limes_not_Lemons Год назад
There's a clear difference in volume to when she's singing and when it's just the backing track, it's there just for layering, and obviously it'll hide some of the imperfections of singing a song live, a hell of a lot of bands do this, it's nothing new, having backing tracks for vocals or even extra instrumentation is pretty common on big budget shows especially festivals, some more obvious than others but it's not some abhorrent phenomenon that is inherently trashy, you just have a problem with something that this performance wasn't at all being a part of
