I remember listening to television romance for the first time a long time ago - it was the first song by pale waves I heard. TR means a lot to me and always brings good memories... Pale Waves, you're such a great band and you deserve more recognition and I'm sure that one day it'll come. You create art and each of your songs is a masterpiece. same here! i saw them when they opened for chvrches back in 2018, hadn’t heard of his band before but they started with television romance and i almost immediately went “okay i gotta look them up when i get home” lol

Totally agree pal. I’ve been a paramour fan since they played the Camden underworld in London (so many years ago *sob*) and this gave me massive “all we know is falling” vibes
It's not a new direction, it's the exact same song writing style. It totally works for them, and they can up and down the dirty in the sound to make it sound fresh. I'm not sure who's responsible for the songwriting, but it's someone who's extremely professional because every single song is good. They don't have any song you wanna skip on any of their albums.
I went to a 5sos concert a month ago and Pale Waves opened for them and I immediately fell in love with the band. They make just the kind of music I enjoy and love.

Yesterday I went to see 5sos(5 seconds of summer) and pale waves was the opening band and I got to hear this song a little early (Side note the concert got cancelled while I was there)
