Hello again folks, Eddie here!
In this video, we will visit the closest you can get to experience the Philippines "PALENGKE" scene here in Hawai'i!
Waipahu Festival Marketplace is one of the go-to place of us Filipino to get our fresh ingredients to cook our traditional filipino meals. It may not look it but this place is bigger than it seems and they definitely have everything that you're missing from our "Bayang Sinilangan". 🇵🇭
Waipahu Festival Marketplace is located at
📍94-340 Waipahu Depot St #115, Waipahu, HI 96797, United States
and they are open EVERYDAY from 7AM-3PM. Please take in consideration that their holiday schedule may change these hours.
So what are we waiting for? Tune in and I hope you enjoy this video. Don't forget to comment if you like me to check something out here in the ALOHA STATE. 🌈🏝️🌋🌞

Yes it was very yummy. If you had a chance, I recommend Pampanga’s Kitchen for your next meal. The price is affordable and they’ll load it up good for 2 meals if you ask me. Thank you for watching.

Dinamihan lang ang sandok kasi sinabihan na naka video siya. Sa totoo lang konti ang ibinibigay jan. Next time pag kumain kayo, magdala kayo ng video camera para mas marami ang sandok ni auntie, hahaha.

Yes, I tried to showcase local businesses here in Hawaii, the first time I’ve been to this marketplace and I was in awe right away on how many local businesses they have in one roof and how plenty of selection they have for fresh ingredients and that triggers me to create this video so the people who doesn’t know yet will finally do. Yes please, whenever you’re back in Hawaii, I highly recommend this place for fresh ingredients for cooking and plus, you will be supporting local businesses that way. Thank you for subscribing and as always thank you for watching.

Yes I like goat caldereta or sinigang. I don't know where to get those here in California. Once I ordered goat ulam, the taste is not what I expected.
@RetiredandHangry
@RetiredandHangry Месяц назад
Some Filipino restaurants does not serve goat dishes as it is an expensive meat to put on the menu compare to beef or pork. And plus, not a whole lot of pilipino specially the young one’s wanted to try it. As far as the taste of the goat kalderata, depends on who’s preparing/cooking it and where they’re from in the Philippines as each provinces have their own take on cooking Filipino dishes. Thank you for watching.

Is that a new one in the area? How far is it from Sea food City?
@RetiredandHangry
@RetiredandHangry Месяц назад
It’s 1.7 miles from Seafood City going East, around 7 minutes drive if there’s no traffic. They’ve been running business for a while now. I went there 2 years ago and they have been operating already. I came back cause I think it’s worth showcasing what they have and plus they are all local businesses and that’s how we can show support by buying their products. Thank you for watching.

Is this only seasonal or permanently there. Whats the exact address. When im there, I stay at Ewa Beach. How near or far is it from Ewa??? Thanks for posting
@RetiredandHangry
@RetiredandHangry Месяц назад
It’s permanent establishment. Depends on where you live in Ewa Beach, it’s 6.2 miles maybe 14 minutes by car with no traffic. If you put “Waipahu Festival Marketplace” on google maps, it’ll take you right in their parking lot. I also have the address on the description of this video. Thank you for watching.
