I am in Palenque right now. Come visit the ruins and spend a day in the rain forest. Then, afterward, you can stay in one of the many luxury resorts minutes away from the ruins. Amazing place and awesome people.

OMG, I am sure a lot of people after watching this video just want more. I mean both of them are great but David Stuart has this quiet passionate luxurious way of transmitting the fabulous wonders of the Maya people. David explanations of Palenque are marvelous, i hope and i am sure many people too, would wish somebody somewhere, will do more videos of David Stuart´s precious descriptions of mayan archeology. He definately is a door opener to the mysteries of those amazing mayas. Thank u David.

I got into the Maya because of a book by George Stuart that I bought from my neighbor at a yard sale for 50 cents. Because of that I became fascinated by The Maya and this fascination has taken me all over Mexico and Guatemala to visit ruins and learn more. I hope to one day meet David Stuart and thank him for having a father that opened up a wonderful world to me.

The city of Palenque was known by more than one name. One of them was Tok Tan, meaning Cloud Centre. Perhaps it was named that way because the city was build on the edge of a mountain. Another name is Lakam Ha. This one is much more appropriate I think. Lakam Ha means Great Water. In and around Palenque are various springs and creeks that flow through the forest. The Classic Maya name for the Palenque 'empire' is called B'aak. B'aak means 'bone' or 'captive' in Classic Maya.

The maya were knowledgeable of the secrets of water. I think Great Water can also be translated as Great Light or Great Love - both aspects of water... Palenque was one of the main centres of the Classic may so these would fit...

36:39 I think that the palenque "astronaut" rappresents the dead King Pacal lying across his throne, his royal seat and the back throne is a wooden cross shaped like a totem with something that looks like a serpent around it.

Seems this was where Throth the Atlantien Priest King who survived the Great Flood(10,000-12,00 B.C.)went to build pyrimids. & place the emerald tablets in the Halls of their Amenti,as in other pyrimid sites(Egypt conduit sites) also recived their cosmic esoteric wisdom of the stars,making King Pacal a true Star Messenger-among the South American Kings who held Sun High Tec. able to electrifiy Tesla way!His incarnation was Qusaqual,Palenque as other Mayan sites were great sites for these Star Messengers,& the Indians admitted they did not build these sites!

I saw a video a while back that was about a large artifact found in Pacal’s tomb It was sort of in the shape of a rocket thruster. There was a picture of it in front of the pyramid where they said it was on display for some months or maybe a year before being taken away. It looked like it was about 6 feet tall. Was it a hoax? I can’t seem to find anything about it now.
@harrowgateguy
@harrowgateguy 3 года назад
@Abu Dabu where is it now? I never see any mention of it anywhere except that one video. I’ve been to Palenque twice in the 1990’s and saw nothing about it even in the underground tomb where it was supposedly found.

The Indigenous people of the Americas are thousands of years older than previously thought. The Hopi history is written down in the ebook: The History of the Hopi from their origin on Lemuria. They say that they are at least 30,000 years old and are the ancestors of the Maya. Ancient texts, like the Indian Mahabharata and the Mayan Popol Vuh, tell us that the Earth suffers from a cycle of seven natural disasters. Those disasters are causing massive floods, earthquakes, firestorms and a bombardment of meteors every few thousand years. These disasters create a cycle of civilizations. One of these civilizations lives more than 10,000 years and reaches a higher level of knowledge and skills than we have now. Their civilization ended 20,000 years ago because of the next recurring disaster. Before they disappeared, they have built these huge temples all over Central and South-America. To learn much more about the cycle of civilizations, recurring floods, and ancient high technology, read the eBook:"Planet 9 = Nibiru". Search for: invisible nibiru 9
