Probably my least favorite episode of the original 1994 season (only because hominids aren't as good as dinosaurs). But still, its PALEOWORLD so i gotta love it!
I don't understand with paleoworld documentaries compared to today's prehistoric documentaries. Eventhough I REALLY DON'T LIKE PREHISTORIC HUMANS but somehow this documentary touches my mind and soul AT THE SAME TIME!!!! SO SAD WE DON'T HAVE THESE KIND OF DOCUMENTARIES AGAIN😢😭😭😭😭
Information upadate: Turkana Boy wasn't fourteen or twelve years old when he died. He was eight, according to new measurement of cell structure in his teeth.
There are different species of Saber Tooth cats! I don't know if this is a sub species or genus or it may be referring to what now may now be the Saber Tooth cats.
Lmao, well that got cranked up fast. A grin-able line from a 20+ year old out dated doc, then BAM. Slut shaming. I'm actually impressed with that reach. Fucking idiot.
I wonder if they were stronger than us? Neanderthals were, but their muscle mass developed to protect them from the freezing cold of the Ice Age. Muscle mass by the way, is why we are fine in a certain temperature, but girls feel cold.
I think the homo erectus is earlier than the homo habilis which I believe is the Denisovan. Just my present belief. A fairly large stable population as shown by the genetic structure. The first true humans with social dynamics of morality which sometimes is lacking in Africa today with the Buntu.
Just think- the vast majority of remains are either found in dry exposed desert or in a cave. I think we need to grid the earth and send out teams to just start digging and see what they can find. Imagine the vastness of Siberia and remote jungles that even today has never been explored. We are trying to understand the complete picture with just a fraction of the record. Anyone who dogmatically holds to a theory based on todays knowledge is handicapping the science. Right now we are better off using imagination based off a strong background of what we currently know.
I find the discovery of bones of extinct creatures to be fascinating, however I find these programs, presented as fact, even with behavior characteristics. These guys do not know. They were not there. Study of functional proteins in the cell make evolution highly improbable. No intermediate forms of one genus changing into another genus have ever been found. Some micro-evolutionary adaptations have been found in species(adaptation), but never anything that would suggest that a baboon may have had a common ancestor to a chimpanzee. much less a human being. There are many extinct forms of animals that could not adjust to changing climatic conditions or competition, but that doesn't means they were predecessors of similar surviving forms
Why are they not classed as humans?? All of these shows class neanderthals as less then humans,,,, yet we evolved from them,,,, or is this the same as we treated the darker races ??? just wondering
Hey,, look everybody,, John Connor found this vid, too..He's goes to all the evolution sights,, And denies Evolution... Me; I like to learn, about all kinds of stuff...
So humans came from apes in congo .And Neanathels are also humans that has not ape blood ...So I asking were they not the only humans.Sounds like they are more like Noah's bloodlines .
@@baruchben-david4196 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saber-toothed_cat Some of them weren't even cats - technically speaking - , but distant cousins with cat-like looks ( feliformes )
A high portion of these words are all outdated today. At the 16:30 mark, that line about a smooth unbroken line of the peoples of asia evolving, is just not what the current evidence shows.
+Daniel Needham They are going by the size of the brain case. Certainly you would have to assume they are just as smart- to do otherwise would force you to admit that Neanderthal was smarter because they had larger brains then us.
***** I think its humorous that in Da vinci's notebooks it is scribbled-"ask a mathematician how to get the area of a circle". Today we think of Davinci as a genius--but??? Its difficult to say on par with modern. It took Western Europe over a thousand years just to catch up to what was lost in Rome. It is very difficult for us to imagine the depth of ancients- still today it would be an extreme challenge to build many of the megalithic structures- and outside of the achievement we can't even get past just the cost of building something such as Giza. As the west is and has slumbered out of the dark ages- I think we still have lessons to learn that past people lived wit as normal reality. The chains of faith has constructed a very narrow reality that only now are we beginning to explore. But this of course is all hypothesis with a dose of optimism.
That term "missing link" is pretty dated and not very applicable. If you are talking creation and dismissing the whole thing on that basis, then WTF are you doing even watching (30 seconds) of this or commenting on it? Leave the adults alone to discuss their sinful misgivings and all the propaganda from this massive conspiracy called "evolution".
That music is overpowering the narrator! It's very annoying when I want to listen to what's being said! !I've unsubcribed from this channel! Very poor presentation with loud music! !
