The native Irish suffered occupation, dispossession of their land and violent suppression of their religion for centuries. They suffered apartheid, racism and were denied basic human rights. The most prominent example of their experience was a Famine that killed one million people and caused more than a million to emigrate. Genocide? This was all at the hands of the British while Ireland was part of the British empire. Independence was eventually gained but only through armed struggle. Six of the 'insurgents' were hanged with days of the 1916 Rising! Don't expect British sympathy for the Palestinians!

In light of international law countries must now boycott Israel wholesale as South Africa was boycotted.
