AUSTRALIAN HERE: (and I say this as a friend) The United States of America has NEVER Given a damn about human rights or international justice *UNLESS IT WAS CONVENIENT AT THE TIME* and to be fair US America's allies have backed it on many of the occasions it has stomped all over the basic rules it promotes. Alright, I've noticed that very few people seem to have actually listened to the statements Harris has made and identified the things she has and has not specifically said. So here. I'll break it down for you. She has: -Verbally committed to the existence of Israel as a state and its right to defend itself. -Also directly condemned Hamas as a terrorist organization. -Explicitly condemned the violence against civilians. -Directly placed responsibility for the lack of aid flowing into Gaza on Israel and said they need to do better. -Called openly for a ceasefire, which the Biden admin required her to amend to "...for six weeks". -Condemned specifically the pro-Hamas and flag burning protests. She has not: -Praised or expressed support for Netanyahu specifically. -Condoned the slaughter of civilians in Gaza. -Excused the lack of humanitarian relief passing into Gaza. -Condemned the protests as a whole.

I'm going to be frank and very honest. And this goes out to my fellow Arab and Muslim American citizens and any other citizen who needs to hear it. I admire and understand your passion.
