I think many of them thought that they would have to share their land in the West Bank for peace and that's all. Maybe if the question was: what if the whole territory of current Israel + Gaza + The West Bank was shared for peace? The answers would be very different. Anyways, in general, I think Arabs don't trust Israelis. Look what happened to the areas that are under Israeli control: Gaza has a blockade since 2007 and the West Bank has hundreds of thousands of Israeli settlers that came illegally, get almost all the water and have lots of privileges...as an Apartheid state. How can you negotiate with such kind of people? Nevertheless, I truly believe peace is possible for Israelis and Palestinians.

Well, at the founding of Israel there were several hundred thousand Arab people living there under the British protectorate. Those people existed and had lived on that land. The last help the Palestinians would want from Arab nations is to expel arabs Jews from Arab lands to populate Palestine. The only people who are gaining from this are the Zionists. The West Bank used to be a part of Jordan. Jordan relinquished control of the West Bank in 1970 after a Palestinian revolt there. Thus, Palestine declared independence from both Jordan and Egypt (which was occupying the Gaza Strip) in 1988. It wouldn't make any sense for Palestinians to claim Jordan as their land, since they stopped occupying Palestine long ago. Israel still is, though.

Far too concerned with taking the hundreds of billions they have received over the decades and using most of it to wage an insane war and kill innocent people. imo that's not a legitimate argument. One person may value more development, another may value more natural and rural landscape. One isn't better than the other, and each people should be allowed to choose whichever they prefer. Clearly, they valued the natural beauty and state of the land over covering it with factories and malls. The point isn't "whoever develops this land the most gets it" because that sets an incredibly horrifying and dangerous precedent. The Palestinians should be able to have their land, and the Israelis should be able to have their land, neither side should be attacking the other and both sides should live in peace with each other and accept that the other side also has a right to their part.
