I mean if you leave the door open you don't know what can come into your house and who can hurt your family that lives inside. it's understandable that borders must be kept, I mean look at Israel, whithout our walls we would live in hell, before the wall over 2,000 innocent civilians were killed in a matter of months in terror attacks, (before Israel existed it was like over 5,000 jews that were killed in the arab riots and in the Hebron massacre in the Palestinian mandate, so Israel improved the situation greatly, but the wall really reduced the killed to 10 or 17 of jews killed by terrorism per year) so I would argue it's a good idea, BUT I would also argue that USA is still an immigrants country, A LEGAL IMMIGRANTS COUNTRY, those its policies are too tough for others that are loyal to the USA to come and work there, and I do think if you'll give more possible solutions for FAMILYS (not single man that want money or smuggling drags) to get in and work, I do think the illegal immigrantion would far decline, but of course they need to be exepted after a background check. since if you take someone into your home, YOU NEED to know they are good people overall, right?
