Yes and no. Israelis and Palestinians see each other very differently. Palestinians look at Israelis and they see a powerful and affluent country with a mighty army and so how can they possibly be concerned about their security!? Israelis don’t see themselves like that - they see themselves as a small country with a small population surrounded by 300 million Arabs. All Israelis remember that most of their ancestors were persecuted refugees. Israelis also remember the bombings of buses and restaurants in the second intifada. You are not wrong in what you say, but Israelis have a real concern as well. Of course any real solution needs to end the occupation (of 67 lands) and provide dignity and opportunity, but Israelis will remain deeply concerned that a Palestinian State will act as a launching pad for attacks on Tel Aviv.

When the concept of peace is so different between cultures , there can never be peace between them.
