For those people who don't have a lot of glow worms yet, once you hook something and it isn't the fish/recipe you want just let it escape, then recast your line to reroll what you catch next time otherwise the same thing will get hooked. Also i caught my sushi recipe in the pond on my plot.
@@oliverong3753 Ah yeah, maybe so. I spent all day again, and tons more glow worms, and still can't get this recipe. Starting to wonder if it's bugged, and you can't get it atm.
Hi 04AM, can you make Flow Tree Farming Guide but this time ask people to group up and chop all big trees in some area depend how many players will participate in event - it will force spawn many flow trees and also this method will work even if server hopping will be fixed. I saw this method in work and it was fun to do. Btw i've used some server hopping but i think its a stealing if player that use "server hoppling" did not call for players to share the loot.
If your cooking game bugs out press H so you open to grid map. That will unfreeze you (discovered that during making sashimi 100 times for glow worm farm)
i've had pretty good luck. 11 casts for sushi at the house (you can fish at the housing plot pond by your exit). 22 casts for the giant goldfish. Found sashimi by accident. The time booster hook was the first item I bought with coins. I said, that sounds really good, i'll buy that! So worth it! Now, onto the unicorn fish! Great vid! Happy fishing everyone! (Also, fishing brew and sashimi buffs stack as well as fishing buddy buff, so get all 3 going if you can!)
I got the fish stew and sashimi easily as I was fishing next to people. Fish stew wasn't looking for it so it was a pleasant surprise. Sushi took a bit longer but wasn't too bad. I'm looking at my previous efforts fondly as now I'm trying to catch unicorn fish and it's taken me 3 days of constant fishing! I'm starting to dislike yellowfin tuna.
extremely lucky for myself this time! never this lucky. first cast reaped the sushi recipe! Thanks for the guidance! I've been loving your videos as I dive into Palia.
ive only got sushi so far and it took me like 30ish tries. I got it from little pond behind the Farm. What took me a TON of tries to get was actually the Blue Marlin i think i had like 90+ tries for it, that was def the hardest one and the Void ray is also getting up there on being dificult to find. Unicorn i got it with 13 tries tho so theres that.
still farming the fish stew.... 340worms in, leveled my fishing from 4 to 10 still no luck Not sure if im doing this wrong, but I havent been able to find any info regarding this on whether or not players who want to fish it have to fish into schools of fish/pools of fish or the open water
This is a random question from a new player, who also low key really hates fishing: Is there any build you can recommend to fish more efficiently? As in, but not limited to, having the exquisite fishing rod, worms, and glow worms as a base. For example: which food, or foods to eat for buffs: like fishermans brew, sashimi, which offer different buffs? Is there any way to stack more buffs with the attachment, or the equisite bobber? Are those all technically consumables that lose durability?
I'm starting to get REALLY fed up w/this sushi recipe. I've spent going on 500 glow worms, and probably a dozen hours looking for it, and it will not fish out. This is very annoying, why can't I just buy it for fishing medals?
I hate fishing in this game now because of these recipes. I'm fishing level 15, over 500 glow, 1000 regular worm, and god know how much I've fished for sashimi. Still no recipes
The hook speed is for extremely late game. It isn't a trick. Everyone knows about it by the time they get to fishing 10, which is required to get it... That doesn't happen overnight. This is clickbait.
100 something glow worms later...still no sushi recipe! I hate this and void ray!! I think spent combined 300 glow worms for both and nothing to show! I like Palia, but between yhis issue and bugged game is just frustrating 😢
You know, I was looking forward to making my aquarium. This video is my first time seeing them. Highly disappointed that they look so dead, and you seemingly can't fit more than 1 fish inside one? I hope they improve aquariums if this is the case.
I've got very lucky and got the sashimi recipe on my first try. The other two still missing, for the stew my count is actual 43 worms and no recipe. Try today again.
I found the sushi recipe at the pond in Bahari to the south at hideaway bluffs, and I wasn’t looking for it…. Same with sashimi which I found at proudhorn pass. Still need the fish stew
Sushi was weird. It took me almost 150 glow worms, then it showed up twice in 5 casts. Yes I caught it twice because I wasn't fully paying attention, noticed I caught it, and noticed I had another in my inventory as well lol.
Two days ago there was someone who was taking video of another player who was fishing fast. They claimed it must have been done with cheats and they were going to report that player to the Palia developers and give them the video. Sure, you can fish fast, but people will think you're using a cheat and report you, unfortunately.
Hey 4AM, I learned a tip recently while fishing for those annoying dawn-dusk-only fishies. If a fish bites your bait, and you don't really want it, you can wait until it swims back down and then reel in. This will stop your fishing for a quick recast, giving you valuable minutes during the dawn/dusk period. It saves you the worm. It does wear down your rod like reeling a fish would. This combined with the speed boost hook lets you reroll for your targets waaaaay faster. At this point, I only reel in fish that I'm target farming for gifts plus any other valuable rare fish. Black sea bass and fathead minnow can stay out of my inventory.
If the recipes are a 2.5% drop rate, there is a 72% chance to catch it within 50 casts and a 92% chance within 100 casts. However, if they drop rate is 1% there is only a 63% chance to obtain it within 100 casts.
