I am excited for both games, especially Faefarm. I am a little skeptical of that $60 price tag though... I feel like I just need to see some more to understand what makes it that price compared to other similar style games. I know I will get it at some point though. Great video!
Totally! 👏 I was really shocked to hear the price tag, but hopefully, it means for them adding a bunch of things before it ends up releasing! Kind of hoping it will come with future downloadable updates too with that price 👀
I believe Palia will be out before the Switch version, they did a stress test on PC yesterday (6th July). Depending on the success or failure of that I would expect a public beta around Oct/Nov. What are they thinking with that price for Faefarm, it makes it an instant no for me. Cheers, for the video.
Hope so! The stress test yesterday was definitely---stressful 😂 but hope the devs learned some things to help improve the game! And that's legitimate! It's a big price tag for something we don't have a history on 👀
It’s more heavy on the crafting and such due to being more geared towards its cozy vibes! They do note it will have adventure so it’s possible there could be dungeons but nothing confirmed!
I was apart of 3 different testing phases of Palia. AVOID THIS GAME!!! It's full of rip off assets from fortnight. They didn't do a single design or asset creation themselves. Just used free and pre-made UE assets. They haven't been able to properly do 1 single test properly. 90% of the testers couldn't even get passed the login screen. Questing is annoying because of no minimap and your forced to use a Call of duty style compass that shows Icons with the distance. Trying to find the NPC without bringing up the main map a million times is very difficult. They Claim it's an MMO but your restricted to 25 people realms. The starter town is small so it does look semi lived in. Once you start exploring you almost never see anyone. Picture fortnight as a farming sim and that's what it is. I've never seen a game rip off assets and artwork like they have. But what can you expect from a 10 man team. They are giving themselves a 6 month deadline that is far, far from complete. I can see this game dying within the first month of release. Don't even bother with it.
