Years ago: I sold / gave my consoles and games. Especially after I realised I could just download all the games I want to play; Romhacks especially. Saving $ is always the goal = just download from Internet. Space Saving is equally important. These items take up too much space & collect dust.
I struggle with this as I have downsized my collection twice over the years and each time has led to regret and re-buying some of those games. It is so hard to decide what you truly do not want in your collection, but at the same time, I hate to move to all digital. Agh the choices!
For me my breaking point was when I moved and many of my things broke. I’ve gone majority digital since but I totally understand the mental tug internally! Wishing you the best to get thru the minimal journey!

I just started Moonstone Island! So far, it’s pretty good! It’s like a perfect mix of stardew valley, pokemon, and legend of Zelda. With a sprinkle of a studio ghibli mixed in! 🤩
There is only 1 game that is better than SV or is so different and everyone should play it and is an old game now Rune factory 4 Thats it. Frontier is also good but is stuck on the wii and has the issue of being really SLOWWWWWWW as animations take a bit of time to complete Sandrock is also good. Btw no you cannot be gay in rune factory 4
I've personally decided to keep my 2DS and sell all my physical copies of Pokemon games due to their prices constantly rising and a lot of place they took. Now I have CIAs of those games installed and I emulate GBA titles on those... It was hard but it had to be done.
I sold most of my video game collection, I kept only 15 physical games. I only buy digital games on Steam now, plus I don't have space in my room for anything anyway. I moved from a 1 bedroom apartment to a single room, so space is limited.
This was a great list! I had never heard of Moving Through Life before. Instantly added it to my to-play list. I want to play all of those upcoming games, but really looking forward to Tiny Bookshop.

I did play gacha games, but I think a gacha game is not cozy/relaxing.. it's stressful even for your wallet lol.. good thing I stopped playing them.. it's predatory lol..
