Palium Ore Locations need a FIX in Palia

I like this idea. I'm hoping that the next map will have more palium than Bahari Bay does.

I love this idea! I would love to see them utilize the mines more.

Since this video they actually made it so once someone breaks any of the rock nodes, they stay for roughly 3 minutes before they disappear. So multiple people CAN gather from the nodes now within a timeframe. I've found this has been such a great change to them.

That's valid and totally understandable. There have been times I've experienced the same thing. We've just got to find the balance.

The other problem is actually the root of the complaint - too many people whine about "there's no palium" because they're unwilling to move around and _look_ for it. They wait for others to find it, and then show up. Making it like flow trees would make the ones who put in the effort, dependent upon the ones who ride their cat tails.

I LOVE the idea of a meteor falling in Bahari Bay at a certain time in game! It would be especially cool if you could see the meteor coming down so you know a general direction of where to go looking for it!

@@BirchyFruFru the idea comes from the "gleamite meteors" from the new world christmas event. i absolutely loved the sound of it. this is how i imagine this could be :D

Oh really?? I feel like it's one way or the other. You either get lucky and get a ton or you can't find any. Either way I think some balance is needed. :)

Sounds like you had a really good night. I spent hours mining one night and ended up with only a handful of palium by the end. I hit every rock. I ran my path. However there were also others doing the same which goes back to "right place right time" and when you have a server full of people doing that by themselves, you're going to run into that problem. Also gems are the reason they changed the palium locations in the first place. People would camp out at every spawn and just farm it for the gems to turn a profit. The point is everyone will have a different experience. Time of day/night you play will factor into it as well as how active that server is. When making this video I ended up finding a ton of palium! The next time, 1 small node. It isn't consistent and when you need to make one more palium bar for a furniture piece, it can get frustrating. I hope you keep having good palium experiences!

@@BirchyFruFru I'd chalk it up to a "good night" but it seems to be pretty common when I go on a mining run. I think a lot of people just don't know where to look. Be prepared to do a lot of climbing, a lot of gliding and a lot of running, around the entire map.

I really don't understand why they didn't. I get that flow trees have flow in them, but why can't palium have it as well?? I got really lucky when recording this that I found so much palium because usually I'll find a small node if I'm lucky.

That's an interesting take. The game is still in beta, so I feel bugs and issues should be expected. We did just have the major holidays, too. I know I didn't work during them! They also did just post an update like, 30 minutes ago. LOL talk about timing. 😂

@@robertgronewold3326 Yea took them long enough. But even then they just said some day we will do this.. Maybe end of January or into Febuary and really talked about new events when they havent even fixed the bugs from the current events. Pretty sad if you ask me

Exactly, I agree. Four flow trees to one grove, someone kindly broadcast its location; and three players swept through and chopped the living daylights out of all of them, and all we could do is stand and watch in ire. Thanks, Twitch players on the Asia Pacific server, much appreciated. Not. And since that palium node update, I've managed 8 palium from tiny nodes only. There's been no large nodes I've ever seen; Palium once again becomes Unobtainium. Heck it's hard enough to find iron ore.

Although I disagree about S6 not caring, your concerns are 100% valid! There are times I'm going around for hours mining and can't find a single palium node. I don't know if it being a gatherable would work just because it doesn't have a designated spawn location. Would it end up breaking iron nodes that spawn there? It's a cool idea!
