What a big, and beautiful fighter! However, this airframe; "Ruff Stuff/ Scat III", isn't owned by the Palm Springs Air Museum, instead, the current owner is Fagen Fighters.

As amazing as these old WWII aircraft were, ( and they were definitely amazing) and as much as I love to see them flying, the time has come to put these old war birds away, safely tucked into a museum somewhere, to sleep for the last time. They're not building anymore of them, and if we keep flying them, one by one, the last one will fall from the sky, and we will be left with nothing but pictures for reminders of how great they were. And that would be the worst fate imaginable.
