Palm Springs is an inclusive oasis for the LGBTQIA+ community making it the perfect location for our first stop as we “Get Back OUT There!” No matter what reason you end up visiting the city, you can find activities, food, shopping, and nightlife that are all bound to show you a great time.
During our getaway to #PalmSprings, we were able to enjoy an afternoon at the lively and colorful hotel known as The Saguaro - “where everyone’s welcome, and all are celebrated”. We spent a lot of time enjoying Froze by the pool and soaking up the desert sun while lounging in their hammocks.
If you’re looking for an outdoor activity to enjoy while visiting Palm Springs, we highly recommend checking out Bike Palm Springs Rentals & Tours. From celebrity homes to stunning scenery, it’s a perfect way to explore the surrounding neighborhoods and visit historic landmarks. We also appreciate how they continue to take the necessary precautions to keep all their visitors safe during the pandemic. Https://bikepsrentals.com
It was an honor and privilege meeting with the Mayor Pro Tem of Palm Springs, Lisa Middleton, to learn more about what the city is doing to keep its citizens safe throughout the pandemic. We were able to snap a photo with her at the artistic PS I Love You Sign located at 100 W Tahquitz Canyon Way.
Palm Springs is filled with incredible shopping opportunities and LGBTQIA+ owned businesses, like the lifestyle boutique Queertique which opened mid-pandemic. After meeting with the owner, Kevin Kauer, we learned how this store supports and celebrates independent queer artists and designers. Before leaving, we had to capture a picture in their photo op dressing room that has its very own disco ball for flare! queertique.com
One thing is for certain in Palm Springs and that is the food options are endless. We absolutely loved the variety of restaurants we were able to experience from enjoying tall glass of cotton candy at Lulu’s California Bistro or spicy margaritas at TRIO, our taste buds were never disappointed.
Thank you to @Visitgreaterpalmsprings for helping make this video possible!
Stay tuned for a PALM SPRINGS bonus video on Friday, October 1.

Hi! We're Will and James! After meeting in 2014, we knew it was love at first sight. Our very first trip together was to New York City where we learned very quickly, that if we travel together we can do anything. Our love has continued to grow and so has our sense of adventure leading us to places all over the world. We document our travels to share with you, hoping to inspire you to grab someone you love and travel the world. Recently, we competed on the 32nd season of The Amazing Race where we not only won the grand prize but got engaged at the finish line, the first gay/LGBT proposal in the show's 20-year history. Join us on all of our adventures!
