I thought the reason the Jedi get killed so easily is that Palpatine blocks their ability to read his attacks. As they can't use the force to read his moves they get owned.
@@OS_Fullmetal Not looking for fight or a debate. I'm completely OK with the fact that younger people like the prequels because they're a part of their childhood. I just find it funny how these things work. First someone came up with this cartoony jump during the pre-vis. Then another person (most likely Lucas) looked at the CGI footage and decided that it'd be cool to spice it up with a roar. So the sound designer concocted a cartoony computer generated roar. And later down the road the author of novelization had do come up with an explanation for it as well as many other things that Lucas filmed just because he thought they'd look cool.
Yea... I always thought that this fight scene was really lame very low energy. I thought it was disrespectful for the sith lord and in particular Mace.
The fight speed was largely affected by a sith power called force shout which is why he gets the jump on the first two Jedi. Also, does anyone else think it's weird that Anakin is like "I absolutely won't let you kill a surrendering opponent because it would be wrong!" When it's an old white guy being killed... When the old white guy is killing a black guy with force lightning, Anakin is just like... Standing there... Menacingly... Darth Vader... More like Darth Racist... All those "Sand People" genocides should have probably been a red flag.
