funny thing is. When you freeze paladius or necromus by frostalion for example and then shoot it by rocket launcher, you will instant kill it

I actually got the legendary assault rifle schematic on my first Blazamut fight. I didn’t even know the schematic drops were boss specific, I just wanted to catch the Blazamut and boom legendary assault rifle schematic. The problem was I got it before I had weapon assembly line 2 and so it literally took *35 minutes* to craft it. But it was worth it 👍

I got my legendary AR from a gold chest in the ice area near frostallion. So, there is for sure at least a low chance to get legendary schematics from gold chests.

I wanted to catch the Penking but keep failing because it dies, did not knew I got the Legendary Feather schematic. The boss timer is indeed helpful, will definitely try that one to farm quickly

honestly saving all the crafting and just using the elemental bows few shots max for status and they do around 75 per tick to legendaries and 200 to the shadowbeak boss

I've found having a Pal tank (if it's bulky enough to) then using the rocket launcher works best against Paladius and Necromus, usually 2 or 3 shots them, if you can get the 2nd or 3rd shot off that is.

My first legendary was off of a Chillet lol, it drops the Cloth Outfit Schematic 4, so while I got it at such a low level which was nice, those ancient parts aren’t easy to get at level 9 since it takes 10 to make it

My first beackon kill dropped the schematics. Good thing i have an ore farming base now im just farming dumuds and digtoise with the pal that has increased droprates (from an egg i got days ago lol) for the oil

I didn’t realize how rare they were before I started to farm for them. My first Jetragon kill got me the legendary rocket launcher on my solo server. I’m playing a dedicated private rn and it’s been 3 days of farming on and off. Only managed to grab the crossbow one.

I just got my first legendary, I got the metal armor from a chest in the pal santuary no.03 i'm still only level 34 so i am actually considering making it in my hardmode difficulty world as anything substnial basically 2 shots me once for the shield once for my health bar.

I have the legendary old bow and I got it early game from an early dungeon chest it was when my best weapon was a triple shot bow it has carried

Hi hi Does anyone know how to get the schematics of long ears (bunny ears) in legendary ?

I got most lv4 schematics form the sanctuary islands no fighting just chests and no keys needed.

Fun fact: if you set loot to times 3 while farming the 6 legendary horses on steroids(legendaryheat and cold armor drop), I believe you can get at least 90 to 180 pal metal ingots as they will drop 30 each. An easy way to do this is to drop the damage you receive to near zero and the damage pals receive to the max(note this will make your pals almost useless) but if you have good weapons you'll be fine. Side note if you speed up your day night time, you should have a more efficient farm of pal metal and gold but mainly pal metal. Also, you can use the salable material for gold coins and exchange the gold coins for bullets to kill them faster. So also infinite bullets as well( no rocket shells sadly) but you can craft them with the thousand of pal metal you'll receive.

Works on any fight except frost type enemy. Use a pal that can freeze the enemy, shoot it with rocket launcher when it is frozen. Voila, insta kill from fall damage,

FYI - It seems as though the chests in the boss rooms have a chance to drop any legendary schematic? I just received Rocket Launcher 4 from Lyleen Noct chest. Assault Rifle 4 from Astegon chest.

I'm kind of miffed that all the weapons aren't super balanced. I love bows and arrows, so I was pretty excited to see a legendary bow that I could theoretically use late game. Even at its highest level (according to the wiki) the bow does just about half the damage of the crossbow, and about 300 less damage over the legendary handgun. So outside of using the bow because of easily renewable ammo, it's not worth using over something like a basic hand gun.

psa multiple pals spawning doesnt help your loot chances fought 3 necromus and 3 paladius and all 6 dropped their legendary armor schematic in one fight either that or i had the rarest legendary drop roll in all existence

The lifmunk effigy’s are bugged and for certain instances have worse effects the higher the level. Since it increases your base chance to catch (the first percent you see when you throw the sphere at the pal) if it’s not at 100% it is actually much much lower than what it displays. Sorry if that doesn’t make sense

I'm just now at lvl 50 I got the purple old bow, and the legendary crossbow, and everything else is blue or green I just caught all legendary alphas now I'm doing a little farm and breeding run then going to beat the last 2 towers

Butchering is also a great way to farm those that should worth a mention, i dropped some of my legendaries that way
