I know this is about essential workers and not a complete production guide, but just a few additional tips that might be of use for someone: -Lullu speeds up crops growth while at base, and this effect stacks. I personally like having two Lullus + Verdash at my base, they manage crops at an extremely fast pace while being smaller than Lyleen and having less pathing issues. -Similarly to Lullu, Shroomers are great to keep at the mining base. While they aren't as fast lumberers as Bushi, they constantly restore SAN of every pal at the base. The effect also stacks, so you can have for example a Bushi along with two Shroomers. The game doesn't require use of that much wood, so at some point they start heavily overproducing anyway. -If you hate using large pals, Sootseer and Elphidran Aqua are great alternatives for Jormuntides. At 4* condensing, Sootseer acquires kindling lv4 and Elphidran Aqua acquires lv4 watering, which is equivalent to non-condensed Jormuntides. That, and in combo with Work slave/Artisan/Serious/Lucky traits, both become very fast workers, while small and not getting stuck anywhere. Nice bonus is that Sootseer is naturally nocturnal. -Work speed affects cooling by a lot. Preserving food can especially become a struggle when you're only just starting, and don't have enough resources and work capacity for baking tons of cakes. You can get cooling lv3 though without doing any breeding at all. Let Vixies produce some free spheres for you, and go on a catching spree at Wild Sanctuary n.1. Penking is extremely common and easy to catch, acquires lv3 cooling upon condensing to 4*
Love your Palworld videos! I got back into the game three days ago, and the tips you're sharing have been super helpful for improving my gameplay. Thanks a ton from Brazil, man!
Dude, thank you. It’s seriously so helpful to not only have the combinations for getting helpful pals but also all the extra info you give simply so it can all be understood from one straight through watch. Great vid
@@Symoh1 You deserve it! You made a great guide. My friends and I just started a new world, and I’ve been looking for guides to help us out. Yours was clear and easy to follow, without any extra fluff. I’ll be keeping an eye out for more from you!
Relax is a tough sell for me, having to deal with Glutton costs eggs and is a pain early on. I built the same system using Tombat, Gumoss, Chillet and Azurobe, with Azurobe being the hardest to get. Here it is in short: Gumoss + Tombat = Verdash. Verdash is probably the best starter pal: Gathering is a Cake Bottleneck and Verdash is basically level 2 in everything else. Chillet + Azurobe = Vanwyrm + Azurobe = *Anubis* + Vanwyrm = Felaris Azurobe + Felaris = Mossanda Tombat + chillet = Petallia + Mossanda = *Lyleen* + Faleris = *Jormuntide* Verdash + Mossanda = Blazehowl + Jormuntide = *Jorm Ignis* From there you can do whatever you want. You will have Vanyrm for transporting and the "Big 4" for work suitability. Prioritizing Shadowbeak is fine and looks like this: Chillet + Vanwyrm = Rayhound + Mossanda = Grizbolt Jorm + Lyleen = Relax + Grisbolt = *Orserk* + Grisbolt = *Astegon* Verdash + Vanwyrm = Kitsun + Astegon = Shadowbeak after that I like to add these: Chillet + Rayhound = Foxicle + Vanwyrm = *Van Cryst* (cooling) Griz + Astegon = Helzephyr, then Griz + Lyleen = Beakon + Helzephyr = *Helz Lux* (Transporting) Petalia + Orserk/Astegon = *Wumpo* (lumbering) or alternatively you could do Chillet + Vanwyrm = Shroomer noct (lumbering) as the SAN buff is real strong especially in a mining base.
Nice. Great list. Love the addition of Shroomer noct too. Personally, glutton never bothered me that much. I found the 10% drop is manageable because of how much the production goes up, and as the base eventually starts to run itself, I hardly even noticed it.
Imma stop you. Start with 3 that are easier. And since dire howl is super easy to catch and really common. It's super easy to get the 4 traits you want and start from there. Plus none of these have a terrible passive like gluttony to set you back you’re better off. Direhowl+Nitewing=Rayhound Nitewing+Rayhound=Anubis(Handiwork 4) Anubis+sparkit=Verdash Anubis+Verdash=Petallia Anubis+Nitewing=Azurobe Anubis+Rayhound=Vanwyrm Anubis+Vanwyrm=Felaris (fastest mover in the game) Falaris+Azurobe=Mossanda Mossanda+Petallia=Lyleen (growing 4) Lyleen+Falaris=Jormantide (Water 4) Direhowl+Falaris=Blazehowl Jormantide+Blazehowl=Jormantide Ignis (Kindiling 4) Mossanda+Rayhound=Grizzbolt Grizzbolt+Falaris=Relaxaurus(one not held back by gluttonous) Relaxaurus+Grizzbolt=Orserk (electric 4) Grizzbolt+Orserk=(Astegon Mine 4)
I was wondering how I could make the perfect combat pal. I was searching online about how to get the perfect traits to a pal; there are info but it seems complicated and couldn't find a good video on it sadly, writing this here cause your explanation and editing are super clean and this might be a good video idea for you :D
Bushi & Penking together also breed Anubis. Both you can acquire early in game through mini boss fights. Alpha Penking level 15 while Alpha Bushi is level 23.
Prixter(Anubis+Orserk) is technically better than Bushi Noct. It's got the same Lumbering and is also a Dark type, but it's got a faster movement speed which decreases its downtime. Orserk with 3 Work Speed traits and Nocturnal is so much better than Helzephyr Lux with 4 Work Speed traits that it isn't even funny. The only reason to use Helzephyr Lux over Orserk is if it's a lower power requirement base that will leave either with a lot of downtime, because it's a better Transport Pal than Orserk is. This video also seems to be missing Vanwyrm(Rayhound+Anubis)/Vanwyrm Cryst(Vanwyrm+Foxcicle) and Knocklem(Lyleen+Relaxaurus or Beakon+either Jormuntide) as the best Transport Pals, and Shroomer(Anubis+Celaray)/Shroomer Noct(Shroomer+Rayhound) and Lullu(Jormuntide Ignis+Teafant) as important supports to your other base Pals. The aforementioned Vanwyrm Cryst can also make due as your Cooling Pal until you get your hands on a Nocturnal Frostalion. *Edit:* Oh, I tried to make all the breeding use either Pals from your breeding list or my own suggestions, but Foxcicle isn't in either. Foxcicle can be made for this setup with Vanwyrm+Celaray
Great points. I appreciate you taking the time to type all that. I did forget a couple of things like Shroomer and Lulu, but this video was geared more towards beginners and starter bases to give them a jump start on the essentials. I plan on making a similar video later that focuses on optimization.
I think if you get nocturnal trait on some of these pals you can negate the dark typing for some, yet the only downside is you are taking away a trait to work twice as long, which could be either a downside or upside with how you view it
I made that graphic shortly after the Sakurajima update and the websites I was using at the time for research had it listed so I thought maybe it was something I missed. But I realized later that it's not in the game and forgot to go back and fix it.
I only wish a first-time youtuber and the very first video of his entire life had that much of an impact lol. But in my defense I started working on this like 3 months ago and it 95% complete weeks before the whole thing started.
@@Symoh1 well palworld has had some controversiary surrounding it cause of the pals looking close to pokemon, and nintendo is building a case to try and sue(supposedly), and calling them pokemon names is likely just giving them more fuel to actually get the game shut down
Hi wonderful video! Extremely helpful. Returning player from Xbox to PS and I wanted to research stuff like this before starting again. Just wondering something about breeding times: How long does it usually take for pals to produces eggs? Is the same for everyone or longer for rarer ones? And how long? Please and thank you 🙏
I primarily play on PC but as far as I know the breeding times are the same across the board. You can adjust the settings for your egg hatch time though. Even make it 0 so it hatches instantly.
You can just breed randomly from pals with good buffs. Like R1 with Artisan + R2 with workslave, R3 with noctunal+R4 with serious and so on. it may seem to waste some cake but it really is not that much. Since some working pals can breed with many formulas. You will get good parents with good buff. So focus on buff, not pal types.
The only use for a high level cooling work is that Refrigerated Crusher thing, but its so late game that most of the players wouldn't even use it I believe.
Subbed. This was super helpful Only thing I am curios about now is if there are any easy way breeding a Relaxaurus. All the wild one have glutton which is 💩💩
One way is to look up what combos make relaxaurus and breed those 2 pals first. Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about it. You get such a big boost to production with these pals that 10% debuff is not that noticeable. Over time, as you get more cake, you can keep breeding until you get the skills you like.
Not true, you need electricity to run the assembly lines which unlock at like level 26. Getting a pal with only electricity uses up a slot. Pals like Orserk, Helzephyr Lux, Grizzbolt can charge it up quickly then work on other things. Plus, you can only catch orserk at Santuary No.3 which is like level 40+.
