there is a 1.20.1 version out right now :) you can't find it on the curseforge app though, you have to go to the website

I was excited to play Palworld, but then I saw reports on how the creatures are made by AI and that the developers have a long history of ripping off concepts from other games and abandoning them before they even get out of Early access. I'll have to fact check this more before I make a decision but its certainly put a damper on my eagerness to play, and I wish more people were made aware about this, as I don't want the gaming world to be drenched in copy-cat games and AI generated content :/

From what I can gather there’s no evidence of use of AI. The devs expressed interest in the use of AI in the past which is where the accusations are stemming from. The game is getting a lot of hate, I think because of its current popularity. The hype will die down and a lot of the hate will too.
