I always had respect for Ms. Pam. She was and is still is one of a kind. She had this mysterious persona that was captivating during the beginning of her music career.
She has so much presence on stage and ripped and a strong melanin beautiful woman (made me up my gym game) , calm, spiritual and down to earth off stage very inspiring .

WHOEVER tried to crumble Pam by trying to convince her she is ugly has absolutely terrible standards. Pamela is the epitome of beauty. She has such a beautiful presence anytime she is present. Pam has angelic vocals, you could tell she thoroughly feels music and you can tell she is about black solidarity by her loyalty and dedication with our people (b.men and b.women). She was real because as much as her impact and approach was confident and solid, she showed us vulnerability. Pamela Long for me will forever me the epitome of a beautiful woman, she contributed to my respect, appreciation and love for black women. I want to also say, we should promote and push Pam as much as we can to ensure she is enriched by us before it's too late. Also because it's what she deserves and what we would want if the shoe was on the other foot. Thank you for sharing this interview, I am glad Pamela had the strength and courage to share her journey. I am glad she didn’t allow the devil to continue to lie and abuse her. God’s Love will always lift us out of the darkness into the LIGHT.
She is a natural beauty and regal you can see and feel her power on stage. So sad insecure people feel they have to put people down to make themselves feelgood at other peoples expense misery like company crabs in a barrel.

I have fallen in love with Pam's spirit. I can tell she has been on a true journey with Christ. I need to read her book. She is very captivating and pure in her intentions. I pray she continues on her journey and she has inspired me to get back to my love of Christ after watching her on the show Encore. I pray she reads this and knows how much I loved Total and how proud of her. She has always been beautiful to me by the way.
Back in the day I never thought she was “UGLY” I actually wanted her swag. I use to pretend I was her in the mirror singing “What about us” and pretending to be in the video . Lolololol I miss my childhood in the 90😭😭

This was a beautiful interview with her. I always wanted to get to know on her a deeper level than what we perceived her to be. I would never fathomed she dealt with self esteem issues. I always thought she was beautiful. After this interview I am evident she still is.
"Can't You See" isn't Total's first video. Their first video was on Video Music Box, it aired once. And I'm just guessing, but it looked like it was filmed on the rooftops of Mt. Vernon buildings.
I acually thought Pam was beautiful. Her body stature was on fleet. I really thought she was the one that stood out amongst the group although the other ladies were beautiful too.

P Diddy didn't admit how good they were in their faces because he wanted to see how desperate they were. He signed a lot of his artist when they were in desperate situations. That's how they got horrible deals.
Close. Label execs won't show interest initially to keep the artist humble & cripple them mentally. It's a power play against the artists, their mgmt, and other label execs "poachers" especially, to make the group look whack. It prevents arrogance & bidding wars. They could negotiate better deals overnight with other labels on the strength of bragging about Puffy showing excitement or interest. So disinterest is a power move that's always used.

It even happens on the streets as well as business so its a systemic problem...thats because the exploitation and then to capitalise off black intelligence, ability or creativity is a normal characteristic and feature of this system, it's an exhausted business model which founded this criminal enterprise/nation. Sorry Pam you had to grow up around people who put you down because they don’t like themselves. They took their hate out on you. Ugly people call people ugly. You’re beautiful 🤩 uniqueness is a gift. When you stand out from the rest people don’t see that as a blessing but it is. Also people tend to put dark skin women down. If you was light skin, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. Black people have to do better uplifting their dark skin sisters. Especially black men, not all. But I’m dark skin and I had a dark skin man maybe one shade lighter than me ask me do I like being dark skin? I was shocked but of course I answered because I love being dark skin. Pamela is very pretty, very gorgeous, and has a different look, very unique. I think sometimes we see ourselves different than others do. Sometimes we are very critical of our looks, but what really counts is what the heart looks like. If the heart is not attractive, then neither are we. The devil is a liar.
I agree with you Angela, it's always refreshing and nice to see depth to human perception. It's a mostly shallow society though, there's an ocean of zombies and narcissism is rife.
I always thought that Pam was beautiful. But To hear to speak on it. It make me feel a certain way. I want men and women to know only God can judge your beauty. Puffy should have done right by his artists. God is so good and such a blessing
