This morning I was looking up recipes for bolillos to have for your lonches recipe. I couldn’t find clear ones that are in english. I said to myself I can’t believe Angelica doesn’t have a recipe for this. Low and behold I log on and this is uploaded. Thank you!! Definitely making those lonches
Yes, it's true. I buy yeast by the pound packages and still use 20 year old yeast. Works just as well as just bought. I stocked up at the start of the plandemic; keeping it in the vacuumed sealed packages and frozen until ready to use. I keep a small container in the fridge for baking with and refill that one from the freezer yeast when low.
The best thing I love about your recipes is I know I can trust it. I am entertaining today and I already know this will be a great recipe for my meal. I tell all my friends to watch you!
Oh yummmm. Love fresh bolillos with some frijoles con chorizo. I hope I can master these and just be able to make them instead of going out to get some...thank you💗💗
They look Yummy. I’ve been baking a lot of bread these days so I’ll have to give these a try. I really appreciate the fact that you have such a variety of recipes on your channel. I’ve been expanding my recipe box to include different cultural cuisines. Asian food for example, wasn’t something that I ever cooked at home because I wasn’t familiar with the ingredients but is a staple now. I’ve been getting more familiar with Mexican food and ingredients now as well because of your channel so that will be next. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
I’ve never made bread but bought yeast and flour in case we need to due to food shortages. Well it’s now mommy /daughter bake night because of this video. We are prepping it to make tomorrow. My 8yr old will love doing this.
Is it me or can I not hear Angelica to well. The bread omg I can only imagine the smells of bread baking 😋 it looks so delicious. Angelica have you made croissant's before ? Home made jumbo croissant's. I buy them at the market to make sandwich's with my gosh they are amazing ! Your hubby and children are lucky to have a very good cook in the family😁👍🎉💕
Started quiet at first but became louder by the end....louder can always be turned down, quiet can only be turned to max and still may be too quiet...’

You are awesome! I often buy these at a local bakery. My family loves these and now I can impress them by making my own. Thank you and God Bless you and your family.
I got your cookbook the other day!! Love it! I don’t have any Mexican cook books, will you release another that’s mostly Korean?
4 года назад
I would like to, but I really want to travel to Korea and cook with my mother in law first. There are a lot of dishes I cook but I want to be familiar with the tastes from my MIL's home cooking. 😁
@ Let me know when you come! I'd like to do a meet and greet, I'm here teaching English. Honestly though the kitchens are so tiny here compared to the US. It's quite the experience haha
Hi A.!!! This recipe looks so...good. I know nothing about grams. I have to look that all up. Anyways your bread looks so...Yummy. You make it look so ...easy to make. Great recipe. Take care Stay safe & GOD bless.
I boil water while I prep my dough then throw the boiling pan of water and my pan in my clean dishwasher. Works well as a bread proofer. Besides I never use it😂.
Now I’m hungry for bread🤤🥖 I’m so glad I came across your channel you have so many delicious food videos, there’s so many things I want to try! Thank You 😊
WOW those look so good, when you came close to the camera I wanted to bite that beautiful roll. My first time seeing your channel. Thank you for sharing. Going to try these
Ma'am, I have a constant battle with myself between choosing to be healthy or be good at cooking this homemade recipes. And I think your channel was sent to me as a sign from above!🙌 lol jokes aside, all your recipes look and I bet they taste delicious. Blessings 🥰❤
Hi! Quick tip from someone who uses plastic bags all the time to cover rising bread dough to keep it from sticking: give it a quick pass with an oily hand just before you put it over your dough. It doesn't have to be dripping with oil, or thick with grease or butter, just enough to coat. That's enough to keep it from sticking to anything that's rising, and possibly ruining some beautiful stuff before it goes on the oven.
I don't bake. Some reason I watched this. I've seen others make bread. Thought it wasa lot of work and waiting. I'm definitely trying this by the weekend. As you were tearing the bread, I could just imagine how wonderful it smelled. Put some butter on it or dip it in a sauce.... I'm hungry now.
Thank you SO much for this recipe! I’m going to try it using my sourdough starter and just pick up w/the dry ingredients and go from there. It won’t be exactly the same but I’m certain it’ll be good. I also have Rye starter....hmmm....kitchen scientist! 😂 Oh- how rude- my sourdough starters name is “Franny” & the Rye Starter is: “The Duchess”. 😆 Nerdy or what? 😉 Thanks again.
Mine didnt end up nearly like yours , but it was still good Edit: one year later, I've mastered this recipe and I make it every Christmas, Thanksgiving, and just about every holiday or special event. Thank you very much
