Every year during our carnival season in Trinidad and Tobago (From Jan 1st till Ash Wednesday), the various Panyards throughout the country battles it out in the Panorama competition. The first step is the Prelims, which occurs at the panyards, where the judges distributes points for the technique and melodies played, and in this one we’re exploring the last 3 panyards in the northern area of Trinidad.
