The family will love these seared pork steak with creamy mushroom sauce served with roasted baby potatoes and a few simple vegetables on the sides.
INGREDIENTS:
- 700g pork shoulder steak
- salt, pepper, and dried rosemary, to taste
- olive oil ( or vegetable or canola oil )
Creamy Mushroom Sauce:
- 350g button mushroom, sliced
- 2 to 3 tbsp olive oil (or vegetable orcanola oil )
- 2 tsp butter
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 to 3 tbsp cream of mushroom mix ( you can also use all purpose flour )
- 1 1/2 cups milk, adjust as needed
- 1/2 beef bouillon cube
- a pinch of sugar, to balance the flavor
Sides for Pork Steak:
- roasted baby potatoes
- steam brocolli
- buttered mix veggies
