It's Pan Am we're so ride or die why didn't she understand your pain when you woke up out of your 2-year coma and she just ditched you like you were dirt. I don't think you know what a ride or die chick actually is.. a ride or die chick would have broken into the facility that he was staying in and she would have busted him out she would have stopped at nothing to find him on this planet but she didn't.. thank you young guys really don't understand women at all
@munterdoo There are two things about your reply to my comment that are incredibly ironic. You claim that Panam doesn't understand your feelings while simultaneously being unable to look at the situation from her perspective and saying that I don't understand women. You're also making assumptions regarding my age. Panam is hotheaded and impulsive, with trust issues. Given enough time, I'm sure she would eventually contact you, and you could work things out, but that would require the availability of Panam's voice actor. She'd probably yell at you for a few minutes until she gets all that pent-up anger out before telling you how much she still loves you and hugging you tight enough to break a rib.
I thought v didn’t tell anyone what was going on, including the fact that he was going to be unconscious for a while. I’m pretty sure the game doesn’t let the player explain anything to v’s friends which leads to them thinking v died. However, it is the dlc so I don’t know if it’s canon.
@@angelovillarreal3966 Which is just dumb considering what a blabbermouth V is about everything going on in Dogtown, he/she even talks about being potentially cured while on the holo, and then just doesn't mention anything to anyone before a potentially risky life-saving procedure. CDPR just wrote it like that so the Tower ending is more dramatic and also because we can't have a truly happy ending in a Cyberpunk story. The story influencing the characters behaviors and not the other way around, a sign of sloppy writing.
I love me some Panam Palmer. If I had to choose who the finest romance character in gaming is for me it would be her. The atmosphere at the farmhouse with them flirting and her theme playing in the background makes it one of the best scenes in the game for me. That said I will say this. I chose leaving with her and the Aldecados as her partner as my Cyberpunk 2077 ending. I think she will eventually become a good leader but she needs a second voice to balance her out and it can't be V. For their relationship to be strong and the family to flourish she needs a voice of caution. She does begin to see how being the leader is harder than she thought in the romance ending voice call to v about hunkering down. She may not understand it now but she's probably learning what Saul went through and she'll learn to empathize with him more. When you ride with V to rescue Saul she mentions how she likes to remember the gung-ho Saul that crossed the border under bombardment and did flaming figure 8's. That's the Saul before the weight of responsibility started bearing down. That's the Saul Panam see's herself as in 2077. Also back when CDPR confirmed she was 33 it made her hotter IMO.
Panam is 10000% Vincent’s soulmate. We see her in the prologue discussing her plan with Nash in The Afterlife (while Vincent is there for the heist of his own for Dex), both get betrayed (Nash steals Panam’s car and Dex “kills” V), both witnessed the death of someone they cared about (Scorpion and Jackie), both go on rescue missions (for Saul and Evelyn), etc. Panam also cares deeply for V.
I like Panam as a romance but I only really enjoy playing female V, I don't mean to start the whole which voice actor is better war again I'm just saying I originally played as fem V, I grew attached to that voice and whenever I try to play male V it just feels wrong. So even though I know she's a little toxic and co-dependant I'll keep romancing Judy because if we're being honest any romance option that isn't River is the correct one.
Or you could just do what any self respecting person does, that is go to Nexus and get the mod where you can romance Panam as female V. It works like a charm since the the fine folks at CDPR were nice enough to even record all the romance lines for fem V and Panam. That mod literally saved my gameplay experience.
I honestly don't like when they give someone a defined age, I prefer just a generalized open ended option. Like "Panam looks Ike mid to late twenties or so" and that's all you can guess. Same with V, since it's supposed to be "you." Let me assume V is the age I want him to be, which is my case is 33 since that's my actual age. I dunno, just always bugged me a little.
WIth V in particular, I see why they pin you to a young age, because they're very specifically meant to be young, as part of the tragedy of their sudden terminal condition. It's meant to be gut-wrenchingly unfair that your life just got going and now it's about to end. But everyone else? Yeah, Kerry looks 30 and acts like a teenager, same with Panam, same with Yorinobu Arasaka. For the most part, age really is just a number for adults in Night City.
crazy how she would freeze hell for you if she could in the base game but in the DLC 2-year coma ending for the base game, she ignores your pain and suffering and blocks and ghosts you smh.
Panam Chads stay winning as usual, we have more Ws than the Welsh Language Judysimps stay seething with a character that's been scissored more than grade school construction paper
In the pre release version, V was listed as 23. Then once the game came out, they said V was 27. Not sure why they changed panam from 26 to 33. With all her outbursts, 26 y/o seems to fit better.
in a story written by saddist people and 90% of the characters are mentally ill, we can still find hope with Panam ending. Also I recommend people not to wasting their time playing the dlc, instead just play Cod, because it's the trash copy version of Cod and story will just piss u off by its hypocrisy
