Did you check the stamped serial number on the driver? A substantial number of those cabs were loaded with a re-branded Eminence. "67" at the beginning of the number means you got gold, there.

So did you replace the speaker??? HOW? I can't see a nondestructive way to replace mine (Same cab)

I bought a set of their D30 speakers for my Laney 2x12 cab and they're basically V30s with more bass. I had a Panama 2x12 Road Series cab, but I sold it about 4 or 5 years ago, otherwise I'd try to crack it open and see what speakers were actually in it.

Did you ever try to replace the speaker . My grill doesn't come off :(
