@CineD, Matthias and Luise, thanks for bringing this comparison and your thoughts on it to us. 20:01 "Electro-Optical Transfer Function", I love it that Luise knows exactly what she is talking about. I wished more channels and their experts would talk in a fashion like she does when comparing RAW and log footage.

isnt the s1h h265 6k. thats a pretty solid image. Would have liked that thrown in for comparision. not much difference in dynamic range as she points out. next test would be color manipulation to justify the raw.

Are you going to measure dynamic range on the S1H using the noise reduction -1 setting? Expecting it to be less than before but the image is soo much better than before now.

Nino, thanks for this video. She made a lot of sense to me. So would it make more sense to do DR tests in linear? Because abviously, all manufacturers manipulate their curvs but if u test them in liniar... ?

But the atomos website clears states ninja v records v-log raw here. Are you sure about this?

I love cineD but this video is an embrasement : is full of bad and misleading information. Look like a bad advertisement for dumb consumer and not a information for professionals. Furthermore ProresRaw is at the moment is more a joke than a true raw format.
