Is the waveform setting function a setting required to be run for each individual picture mode or is it a single setting that is applied to and underlines all picture modes?
@@m.zillch3841 Many thanks for the reply. Based on more fiddling around I think it is a global setting. Coming across your calibration has restored my picture quite a bit and has given it more balance, especially in the blacks, which I feel are not as crushed as they once were. I would suggest anyone to give this a try and especially when you have a new bulb in place after about 100 hours of use.
I never knew testcards were still being broadcast on a regular basis. This was a planned broadcast on public service television a couple of years ago, and was even mentioned on Ceefax as 'Sync test'.
