What features will you recommend to #Panasonic #Lumix if they want to upgrade the #FZ2000: ---------------- #Panasonic #Lumix #FZ2500MII / #FZ2000MII: The #FZ2500 or #FZ2000 Mark 2 =>>> a #G90 / #G95 or #GH5 with fixed lens? This Bridge is pretty popular one for video content. ------------------- I think all bridge superzoom cameras should be a good Hybrid tool for stills and videos.. The reason why you will buy a bridge to have a bit of all in one body. Thanks.

which one is better in low light FZ2500 or UX180?

FZ2500 might be a little better in low light, but I cannot tell the difference. It seems like they have the same sensor and lens.

You have something wrong about the focal length of the UX90. its not 24mm on 4K. I wish you were right...

I thought I said the UX90 is NOT 24mm in 4K. If I didn't, I'll say it here. The UX90 is not 24mm in 4K, it's 35.4mm in 4K.

Maybe you and I are confused here. The camera that I am reviewing in this video is the Panasonic UX180, not the UX90. They are two different cameras. I mentioned the UX90 because it is the baby brother of the UX180, but in the 08:33 clip, I am talking about the UX180 being 24mm in HD and 4K.

They don't have the same sensor - the one in the fz2500 is 20MP, over twice as much as the one in the UX180 and UX90, which means the camcorders have far better signal to noise ratios and light sensitivity. If you don't see a difference between the GH5/GH5s and the fz2500, and choose your gear to impress the customer, then I have no further questions. Work the way you think is best, but don't go around passing this misinformation as knowledge.

I see a huge difference between the GH5/GH5S and the FZ2500. Did I say I did not? If I did say there was no difference, then I probably said that on accident. The difference is night and day. You could dumb down the GH5/GH5S to match the FZ2500, but you can't go the other way around. The GH5/GH5S is far superior in video specs to the FZ2500. Have you done a video test of the FZ2500 and UX180? If so, what did you find? I cannot find information online as easy as you can, so any help and real world information would be great.

Hey Gizmo, great video! I wanted to ask you a question. I own an UX90 and I'll will buy another camera to have with it. I am deciding between FZ2500 and G85 (with 14-140 f/3.5-5.6 and 25mm f/1.7 lenses). The most of my work is event photography, concerts, interviews and weddings, singers in a studio/outside in street and so on. Would you pick the G85 or FZ2500?

I would get the FZ2500. It will match your UX90 better, will function more like a camcorder, and as long as you purchase additional batteries or an external battery extender, you can film for long periods of time. The G85 would be better if you also take stills or you need a camera with better low light functionality.

@@VideoGizmology If I were to later sell the G85 and get a G9 it would be better than the FZ2500 though, wouldn't it? The FZ2500 looks awesome, but it's a 1'', so essentially no bokeh or cinematic effects, do you agree?

We are talking about two different types of cameras that are meant for different things. A G85 or G9 are best for stills, low light, short videos, highly stylized looks depending on lens choice. The FZ2500 is more like a small camcorder. It's not great in low light and the stills quality is poor, but has all the features you would need in a camcorder. The FZ2500 doesn't have a recording limit, whereas the G9 only lets you record 30 minute clips. You can also install V-Log L in the FZ2500, but you can't install that in the G85 or G9. The 1" sensor is great for event video. More things will be in focus. You have a longer zoom range. You just have to ask yourself what you really need and those needs will lead you to an obvious choice of camera. If your needs are too big, you'll have to consider multiple purchases. I, for example, have 12 different brands/models of cameras because each camera is good at specific jobs and I try to always have the right tool for the job.
