LOVE these episodes where I'm all, "Well, I guess I'll watch some of it..." and next thing I know it's over in what seems like 30 minutes and I'm blown away by everyone involved. Stellar episode!
I met him on a Think demo in Spokane. I think it was Pancho, Drehoble, Duffy, ….might have been a few more guys. I got Duffys autograph. I remember that Dan had these crazy filthy hands and clothes and looked really old. Pancho that day was kinda cranky. The little kids kept thinking he was WeeMan because Jackass had just came out.
Yo. Late 90’s Pancho came out to Hawaii and stayed with his brother and mom. We spent a couple weeks skating our local spots and cruising.amazing. Watching him kill our spots was beautiful
Ho you mean Chris 😆 fuck yeah! Was this on Kauai? I knew them all from Lahaina. Maybe the old Makawao skatepark? Chris used to crush that place before they moved to Kauai.
These are my people. Almost. Lol I saw Tim O'Connor at the Tony Hawk Tour about 2000ish. He had a cast on his arm. First thing I said was Where's Poncho!? It was a good time. Bam. Dill. So many great skaters that day!
I'm 35, and when I was 15, I went to WoodWard West (first Summer the West camp was open) and the Think team came... and Pacho was there! I remember he had a dope front crook haha.
Damn I lost skating for 12 years. I’m glad to be back although much less now. I can pump bowls but my knee is jacked. No Ollie’s anymore but I’m glad I can just enjoy what I have. I know Ponches feelings man. Bro I feel ya man.
I met Poncho at the 99 xgames… he was carrying around a milk crate. I asked him what’s the crate for… he set it on the ground and proceeded to sign my backpack. 😂
Great ep always love seeing wee man and cool to see pancho popping up and doing pods I remember seeing him way back in the day at the yuba city ca skatepark when think was doing a demo there. Miss that park
Why can’t this world compensate this community in monetary goods as much as they truly deserve is a riddle to me… much love and respect to all involved ✌🏼
Dude I swear that I have such a similar story with my back surgeries and fusions as well. That ended my skate career, which was looking promising at one point, in San Francisco. And any plans that I had ever planned. These injuries are no joke I couldn’t walk for years. I’m so very lucky that i can skate again now nearing my forties. I’m lucky that I can even walk honestly. The injuries have ruined my life and runs my life currently. Every day i have to think about what I do and what I can’t do because of all my spinal fusions and ailments. It’s a hard life, having to live with permanent spinal and nerve damage injuries. Very difficult living this way. Suicide rates are ridiculous. I’m also a combat veteran. Which does not help. I grew up skating in the Bay Area and i loved when I saw and skated with pancho back in the THINK days of SF.
I used to love Think boards, they were my go to for a solid year or so back in high school and the first deck I tried to find when I got back into skating 6 months ago.
I loved Think Skateboards. The wood was crisp. I had some Think pants that I would probably kill someone to have again. Stereo was probably my next favorite board, but I had an about a million of the Powell plane graphic boards. I think I had a Matt Pails…or a Matt Reason Think board. Too many boards to remember them all.
@@christophersawyer253 Matt Pailes Think was my first new school board at 15 and I also had a million Powell Plain decks after that! Lol the Pailes had like Native American or Inuit looking design brown colors
@@ramayomama yes!!! That is the one that I had!!!!!!! Crazy!!!! That board would not die. I think it was 8.25 or 8.375 wide. Brown top ply. It was perfect. Those Powell Plane boards had that SST on the bottom that made them deadly at first skate. Wish I had those to put on a wall. I skated Krux trucks back then…because they grinded so smooth and we could open beers with the hole in the hanger.
You guys said Jeff Tremaine and it made me think why is that everytime I think of a PRO BMX rider I instantly get an image of a good charlotte band member 😂😂 spiked hair beeded choker 😂
Just watched ponchos part in NC clothing video montage. I literally was like damn I don't remember dude ripping this hard. And then I see this crazy how life works sometimes
This is mind blowing, i just found out these 2 werent the same person! Come to find out wee man's real name isn't Pancho moler, it's Jason acuña ...had to look it up just to learn something new.
i feel like out of the nine club dudes Jeron would be an awesome guest on Lil Revolution. Didnt realize Pancho had so much history in skating and im sure they have more stories to tell!
Pancho story is great. Real heartbreaking he can't skate no more. Wee Man on deck was perfect. Can't remember last time I missed a live or a interview.
We also had little "training facility" so to speak. It was in my friends dad's barn in Washington. A quarter pipe on one end, a bank ramp on the other and and a box and flat bar on each side. Nofx was on repeat and we just ripped the rainy days away.
Great episode as always , Pancho and Weeman are legends ..thank you Nine CLub ...🤙💚🔥... one question , whens kelly gonna open that god damn Hard Ice tea . otherwise put a carton of milk in front of him hahaha 😂
