Here is the story of the Henrikson's!
Kerry Henrikson, Mother of 3 PANDAS children and Founder of PANDAS/PANS Ontario, first noticed symptoms of something being wrong with her son Jonah who started to have OCD by asking repetitive questions. Her oldest daughter, Lena also started to show signs of PANDAS with severe separation anxiety, not being able to go to her grandparent's house anymore or playdates. And then finally, she noticed a change in her youngest daughter Marin who started to have "insane, crazy meltdowns". After a long process of trying to find someone to help they found Dr. Edwards. And from there, it was a natural progression for Kerry to start PANDAS/PANS Ontario. An organization that helps other children and families suffering from the same disease as her children find help and care and also spread awareness and education on PANDAS and PANS.
