PANDAS is short for Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections. A child may be diagnosed with PANDAS when: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), tic disorder, or both suddenly appear following a streptococcal (strep) infection, such as strep throat or scarlet fever.

Worried for my daughter too. It's hard to tell if your child is just not feeling well and acting up or if there's something going on internally. I'm not waiting to find out.

@@dianafromcalifornia5127 you're too kind. I took my daughter to the doctor today, they ran several tests on her and came back with nothing. The doctor thinks her behavior changes are due to her not feeling well, I agree, I don't act my best when I'm sick. I'm keeping an eye on her though. My DD has always been so independent now she's clinging on to me, and acting beyond fussy and emotional.

@@dianafromcalifornia5127 her doctor won't prescribe her viral or antibiotics. I can understand why they won't prescribed her viral medications, but why didn't they run a steph test on her? Also why are they refusing to give her antibiotics if they won't check her for a bacterial infection?

@@syzygy4365i just wanna let you know she will feel better. I’ve had pans for 3 years and it’s been crazy tough. i work so hard and so do my parents. i feel way better and she will too. it takes time. it’s scientifically proven that if you have pans/pandas and wait a while and work hard, you’ll feel better. I’m still waiting and working but soon I’ll be 100%! give her positive messages, love, and hugs! (this is if she does have pans/pandas)

I hate how this channel only has 900 subs, not even! Like 897! I have PANDAS, an it’s so unknown that it’s an extreme thing. It combines OCD, Heavy anxiety and depression, plus anger issues and tics! An I’ve met lots of doctors, but I’ve had it for 2+ years! Remember green ribbon🎗️💚 I can’t even go outside and make friends because of this, it’s too new and too unknown.✊🏾

Omg this video is so beautiful I cried the whole time. My son got strep 1 week ago and I’ve notice him acting different. I will be taking him to the dr tomorrow

My son is hallucinating and he is sicker than he's ever been. He's 9. His behavior changed. I've begged the Dr for antibiotics. I told them his strep test was wrong. They refused and said I'd have to wait possibly 72 more hours for the culture they sent off to come back before they would consider sending me in a prescription. I feel helpless right now.

Find a wholistic or naturopath doctor. They often believe in PANDAS.

It would be very interesting to find out if these symptoms started up shortly after a childhood vaccine/immunization. Also, does she have an autoimmune disease?

absolutely NOTHING to do with vaccines. at all. this is related to freaking strep throat. simple research can show you this. so sick of everyone blaming everything on vaccines... meanwhile people are steadily gorging themselves on msg dyes and preservatives in junk food then winding up with hypertension and diabetes among other things..

Can your brain not comprehend? It’s literally in the PANDAS acronym. Strep bacteria causes it. Not childhood vaccinations.

@@JoceEva thank you for your KIND response. My point was, JOCELYN, is that following vaccinations, especially the mRNA, there is more and more data suggesting there is a correlation. Even more so in those suffering from autoimmune. Have a very good day.!
