When you hear of all the cases and deaths, it’s a statistic. When it hits close to home, it’s a tragedy. One of my closest friends died two days ago from complications due to COVID. He was a 57 yr old married man with three grown children and a wife living in NY. He was the kindest humans I’ve ever known. I just wanted to share a personal story to add to the statistic.
My sister just called me 10 minutes ago. She took her husband off the ventilator after 16 days. They both contracted Covid from their daughter, a deputy sheriff who thought she had already had Covid. Tragic for many.
@@justaguy1679 Thank you for sharing. I think it’s important that we share our personal experiences to illustrate that there are human tragedies associated with the statistics. I’m so sorry for you and your family.
Yesterday my hospital had a Zoom mtg where one of our infectious disease doctors did a presentation on the virus & the beginning of the vaccine roll out for front-line employees. I decided to listen in thinking I would probably understand about 50% or so of what he said (I currently work in the Quality Assurance department & have worked in numerous roles in health care for over 30 yrs, but am not a nurse or a doctor). He started talking about spike proteins, mRNA & basically everything you have been talking about since I started watching your videos in March. Much to my surprise, I not only understood everything he said, but also knew where he was headed before he even said it. I always knew your videos were incredibly well researched & presented in a way most of us can understand, but was truly amazed at how much I've learned from you. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all your hard work & dedication to keeping us well informed about this pandemic.
We live in rural Canada. We parked our truck at the end of the driveway, it's a hike in to the house- that keeps people out. I literally kicked 2 guys off the property today who we'ren't staying physically distant, I'm not messing around- we have a lot of animals who rely on us for food and care, ergo- we have to be alive and healthy.
My dad is 91 he lives with my sister so he has some company. Despite his age he plans on having another 20 years and has been adamant that his very large family should stay away from him. so we will and we will look forward to a fantastic family party in August. It isn’t so long to wait. Xxxxxx
The elderly have the wisdom. Despite tne loneliness , many are telling their families themselves, they won’t be joining them this year. It’s likely their immune systems wouldn’t cope if they got it, so cheers to our wise and sensible elders
I love getting these updates! I’ve been here since February continuously. Even though I’ve disagreed with some things, that’s ok. The information has been fantastic. There’s only one part I can not get over, no matter how hard I try, is these horrible measures we’ve gone to and that we are told it’s for our own good/ the good of others. This virus is deadly! It spreads so easily! But quoting California’s leaders in a positive way instead of expressing concern for all those people locked in their house 😳....Some of my family members are in their 90’s... they’ve asked us to come over for the Holidays. They have lived a good life and know there is no guarantee they will be here next Christmas. Truthfully no one is guaranteed to live through today. It should be up to everyone to make their own decisions, CHINA set the standard that lock downs were the way to handle this..... California and New York have never really opened yet..... still high numbers. Last I checked the untrusted experts and WHO said lockdowns are not the path. How many people around the world are dying from hunger, homelessness, loneliness, drug overdose’s, abuse.....because they can’t work, because their government said they can’t....why are we not talking about those deaths? Seems to me the entire virus and the response to it has cost many more deaths yet we only talk about those who die with “Covid” ...🤦♀️ or maybe 🤔 some of those people died because of those reasons, yet also tested positive for Covid? Making them another Covid number rather than the real reason? Such a ludicrous idea to stop people from being able to support themselves! Luckily, we are not God and do not get to choose who lives or dies, or at least when. We all will die. I agree that everyone should be careful and considerate. We should be protecting the elderly and those with significant health risks however, in the end, it should be our choice. If grandma wants you to come over..... grandma should be the one to tell you NOT your government. We don’t need to be babysat. As for me, I am a grandma..... I have asked my family to come over on Christmas Eve and stay through Christmas. I am fortunate my kids aren’t crippled by fear. They will be here, like every year. If I die, I’m glad I got a last Christmas with my family 😍. I am off to pick up my mother-in-law (who is 92), to take her to Walmart (because that’s safer than a local business 🤦♀️) to buy a TV. She asked for the ride and it’s not my place to tell her she can’t make her own decisions.
thinking like a dad. i would think this.. im 91. today is likely my last day. tomorrow..definilty. next month. i have to assume at very most, i only have 1 month left ...to be with and see my kids and grand kids....i would say to myself...i have to make sure i get every minute possible with them at this age. cause today....heck..right now. could be my last moment to be with them.. i would not be thinking at 91 years old. that i am living for another 20 and risking that slim tiny tiny chance of that is not worth seeing my kids and loved ones. if that is how your dad thinks though...i would say your dad has his priorities are way off balance and even worse...he has made you believe that his view of this fine and normal. at 91 he could die at natural causes alone, without any of you at any second now and he is trashing that factor of not seeing yenz one last time. if i was 90. i would have to think every min, is my last...so that i could appreciate that im still living and don't got much time left to be with my kids. your dads wiring is coompletely ass backwards. if you asked me here is whats even more fucked if i dont mind saying..inwich i don't mind at all. cause you need smacked in the face...your dad is 91. that means you must be at least 50....and you still haven't became your own self yet to realize that you dad wanting you all to stay away from him...is fucked. 'ok dad. yes. you are right...i'd rather not see you if you die tomorrow. seeing you. hugging you one last time just is not worth the risk"
I’m only 60, but I’ve decided not to mix this Christmas, if nothing else, there’s no hospital bed to take me if I get a severe case. I don’t understand why people my age and older want to take the risk.
Amen. I’m 68 and have been dying this all along. My bro in law died this morning after being taken off ventilator. Contracted from daughter. My sister is a wreck and their daughter ruined for life.

All of our local hospitals here in Southern California, both the ER and ICU is over run. Our nurses and Dr's all live in our community. They are tired and struggling, working long hours and as a community we try to help them. They asked for snacks, water, granola bars to be dropped off for them. It is the least we can do and I wish we could do more.
And there are some morons posting here how this is just a typical winter flu season and this happens every year. Total BS -- as you are seeing, and we are seeing here on the east coast of the US.
Your area appears to be experiencing what NYC went through last spring. 😟🙏💕 We cheered for our healthcare workers, sent dinners and snacks to the hospitals, shared PPE if we had it, and helped take care of their children. Give them a smile with your eyes 😷😁😷 and a wave when you see them around! Hopefully hospitals are up to date with best treatment and care protocols learned the hard way this year. Much suffering can be avoided and more people should be able survive this wave than the first, if everyone acts wisely. 😊

Hello from Los Angeles - thank you Dr. Campbell for your videos, which I watch at least 2-3 times a week. It's scary times for our city - even the City Mayor Mr. Garcetti's 9 year old daughter tested positive, and we're praying for her, and for the sick & their families in our city. Unfortunately, so many people here in LA don't seem to be taking this pandemic seriously, despite all the public health orders. While health workers are overworked and exhausted, people are still out and about dining and shopping, even groups of young people bringing out their picnic chairs to eat in parking lots despite there being a stay-at-home and no-congregating order. We have no one to blame but ourselves for where we are now.
Thank you as always! Your videos may not be all good news but for me they work better than any antidepressants ❤️ just to see you and hear you makes me feel safer and reinforces hope that it will get better! All of Australia's cases are coming in from abroad. and, we are reacting more strongly/swiftly over 28 cases than anywhere else. This new outbreak will be no different, it's currently suspected that aircrew have not been following protocols and staying at home between flights, and someone has spread it in the northern beaches area; the strain has been traced back to a USA strain. The region has gone into lockdown now, Australians are compliant, I'm sure it will be under control.

Intformation about the Sydney outbreak indicates the strain is a US strain. It is likely the source is international flight crew who had loose quarantine arrangements between flights. This virus always finds the weakest links, which too often are glaringly obvious once exposed.
Can’t believe that overseas travellers returning from OS have to via police escort get carted off to hotel quarantine for two weeks but flight crews stay at a hotel for 5 days between flights and can go to hotel gyms pools and outside cafes. If your a local flight crew they can “ self isolate” at their homes under trust Ridiculous and need to change. But we have great contact trackers , the community are self locking down in affected areas and a great reminder to all of us that we cannot be complacent.
@@tomjohnson4681 Ausralia is bringing 'home' citizens stranded overseas. Personally, I can't understand who these people are and why they are being brought 'home'. Are they people who made decisions to work and live overseas for the longterm and now want to return because they see Australia as relatively safe? I would love to know the answer. There are also people who have been given exception to enter and leave the country. Again, who are these people and why are they being given special consideration?? A news story the other night suggested US citizen/s were given exempt entry to do some shoots for a film.

My state in the US, North Carolina, has 8,444 new cases today. My local hospital did start vaccinating health care workers yesterday. My son and his wife have Covid-19 now. They live in South Carolina. Fortunately, they are managing well.
Unless your state is doing random sample testing, they don't know the true case count. It is probably 2x to 16x the 8,444 test positives that were reported. . We need proper surveys, is my message. And good luck of course! That's the main message.
I’m from the capital of Devon and at our local hospital it’s getting really scary , already we’ve been at Opal 4 ( critical status ) over 1000 members of staff off due to covid , many patients been sent home early to help lighten the load . @David WP - speaking of the UK and Scotland - vitamin D3 supplements are recommended BUT what is needed is an AIDS style publicity campaign to promote community uptake of vitamin D3 supplements - including ethical advice about dose and counter indications etc - this publicity campaign is NOT happening - this appears to ME to be the biggest flaw in the government approach to Covid19. Very sad. The Covid19 vitamin D strategy is being left to individual's happening to pick up on the online advice etc - this is not the way science works

Oh dear. The whole thing appears to be finding a whole new gear as it careens forward - apparently out of control. A paradox is that my county of Herefordshire is currently not following the trend. From tomorrow we are classified as Tier One rather than Tier Two. I don't suppose that will last long. I'd rather that nothing was being relaxed at least until there is a chance of significant numbers of people receiving completed vaccination. I was in my local small Co-op yesterday, and a woman behind me, waiting for the till, decided that it would be nice to walk right up to me, so I said, "If you are in that much of a hurry you can go in front!" We swapped places, and fortunately the guy behind her had kept twelve feet behind me! We exchanged roll-eyes. A bit of instant Karma then ensued and the till broke down, so the second was opened and I went to that and was served and out before the selfish women. I am guessing that there is a hard core of people who really do think that ignorance is bliss. If one takes Herefordshire doing well against Covid at present, I believe this may be down to such behaviour being rather rare, and "almost" everyone is being careful and sensible. Conversely in areas [in the UK] where rates of daily new cases are soaring, I think we may take it that far more people are behaving as selfish idiots. I am glad I live in Herefordshire, and not the south east of England or South Wales. I might well wonder that such differences can occur by region. Perhaps Herefordshire people are simply less pressured by modern life to be so selfish. _____________________ Even when your news is not happy, you deliver it so calmly and humanely that the result is a comfort amidst the disappointingly tabloid [gutter press] approach adopted by the BBC and other formerly respected news sources. Here’s the reality in Southern California. I live in Los Angeles County and besides the closure of outdoor dining, where is there a lockdown? Luckily I get to work from home but my fiancé works in retail. We got Covid in the summer. I got a pretty ugly case. There are so many people who still don’t understand the severity. THE MALLS ARE PACKED FOR HOLIDAY SHOPPING. Like I said, what lockdown? It’s as if 2 people per hour in our county are NOT dying from Covid. And about half the people that are out and about are not wearing proper masks or not wearing them correctly. A chin diaper is not going to save you! My fiancé runs into dumb asses everyday at work who either keep taking their masks off in the store or say that it’s not as bad as they say. Another customer who works for a county hospital showed my fiancé a picture of the refrigerator trucks outside the hospital. People need to see the ugly so they take it seriously.
sorry to hear you had a pretty ugly case of covid, it must have been very scary for you but do you mean "dying with covid or as you say from covid?" George Floyd was put down as a covid statistic because he died "with covid" what l have been led to believe is that people who die with covid are put in the numbers of dying of covid?
@@markandmellwhiteley7995 It is really hard to tell if someone died because of COVID or if they had other issues and COID just made it worse or if COVID had no impact and they would have died anyway. It is a limitation of the nature of healthcare and the wild differences between each person. Other cases the doctors might know right away, the person was healthy and got the virus and had a bad reaction. It is a very wide playing field.
@@markandmellwhiteley7995 I really don’t believe there should be a distinction. If you already have heart failure and you get Covid and you die, you died from heart failure and COVID. @@markandmellwhiteley7995 I would love to live in Australia where the government actually cares if their citizens die. So true and needed. But as with everything there is a section of the population which behaves as if there is no COVID. They are the ones who have street parties in restaurants just before lockdowns kicked in. What goes through the minds of the mindless people?
Pharmacist here. Please address time delays with PCR test reporting and reluctance to wait in queues to get uncomfortable deep swab test. Saliva instant testing, the paper instant test (Dr. Mina at Harvard) similar to a pregnancy is being minimized. A cheap test with really good selectivity and sensitivity as a screen (confirm with PCR if positive if you’d like) that can be done at home, schools or workplace would shorten the time to action dramatically. Thoughts?
Being infectious is many orders of magnitude higher on the fourth through seventh day. In terms of public health, a three day delay in getting a report is heavily outweighed by rapid and repeated testing even if less sensitive. On a logarithmic scale, of being infectious, a PCR test report can almost over-step that time interval. A PCR test is only a snapshot in time. Timeliness and repetition far outweighs any higher sensitivity. Detection with hypersensitivity only means incubation or recuperation. Even less sensitive tests are sure to detect during this infectious spike in time.

I hate having a cold, they always trigger an asthma attack in me, never mind flu or Covid
@BRIGHT B. I;ve been taking Vitamin D for years, and eat healthily, didn't stop me catching a virus back in January that triggered asthma. As for getting your D levels checked every 3months, ain't no GP in the UK gonna do that - I got mine done 3 months ago (optimum level) which was permissible because it had been 2 years since the last check, otherwise, no vitamin D check.
Can someone pl explain to me why after11 months worth of experience fighting Covid here in the US, people are dying at unheard of rates, even as compared to the initial outbreak which blindsided everyone. Why are the mortality figures so high, when so many therapy measures have come about and been fairly well discussed here on YT by Dr Campbell, Dr Been, the Medcram people, DR Paul Marik and a host of others. Why aren't these measures being utilised on a much much greater scale, if for nothing else than a bridge to mass vaccination??
Honestly, I think the best way of dealing with the "disease enthusiasts" in this comment section, is to just calmly ignore them, and report them if they go for the personal attacks. But, as John pointed out, if people have genuine questions, it's best to calmly and rationally answer them.
So pleased to see healthcare providers being vaccinated. I wish every one of them could be vaccinated first. Good on you, Judy (thank you for providing your excellent and life-saving service)!
Yes i dont get why care home redidents would take priority over the staff who look after them. It's the staff who go home on the bus to families doing a bit of shopping en route - I see it every day as we have a home close by. The residents aren't going anywhere.
@@essanjay8604 In the US the care home RESIDENTS have OVER 40% MORTALITY from Covid-19. Other than NATIVE AMERICANS, the deaths in these care homes have been the highest of any category in the US. They are the most "at risk" measured by those that have died. THAT is why they are prioritized, as WELL as the staff that care for them...
Excellent, reliable information as always! Re Mr and Mrs Pence, it appears Mr Pence has finally realized that prayer alone will not protect him, nor others.
The source of the infections in Sydney has been traced back to international air crew not adhering to quarantine restrictions. The one case in Queensland has been linked to the Sydney outbreak.
I don’t think it HAS been traced back though. I checked just now to see if there was an update but there isn’t. They found a crew member who went on another flight after testing negative, who had symptoms and they couldn’t retain for a second test, but they’re not suggesting that this person has covid or spread it. There was an airline-related car driver with covid, but they don’t know where he got it from and no suggestion he was on a flight himself.
@@tomjohnson4681 I've flown 3 times durin lockdown- Oct/ Nov/ Dec to CR and not once caught Covid on arrival or return. I only wear masks when told indoor/ public places, I slept in hotels, used budget flights/ mixed in public squares, stood in queues, used supermarkets, took Metro (trains), had surgery in hospitals, I live with 82-yr old parent & 17-yr old skool child and none of us at all caught Covid-19. Despite skool bein shut, my child in contact with other kids, elderly parent admitted twice into A&E then on wards for acute kidney injury/ gallbladder blockage, etc. I also used UK train system, airports and NONE OF US ONCE CAUGHT this virus. I even had some man come to my front door to give card when he had had Covid himself with his Wife on ventilator. My Surgeon in hospital took drains out of my body after only 1-day, I got tested and tested and antibodies tested and I repeat none of us ever caught Covid. Also, my 82-yr parent had short stint in Care home, again he caught nothing at all. Some ppl do have super Genes, I believe. If it's any correlation, we all have slow RHR (rested heart rates) in my family, mine = 39bpm.
Doctor, for your hard of hearing watchers, could you increase your volume output on your end. Sometimes it's hard to understand what you are saying except when you get close to the mic. From a hearing impaired watcher and listener who believes you have saved many, many lives.
I am in Orange County, California the two hospitals near me are full- they are not accepting ambulances only walk-ins. Gov. has told everyone to shut down--but restaurants are not listening and the head of law enforcement will not enforce anything saying department will not infringe on constitutional rights of its citizens. Very scary.
Then your Governor should step in and issue a direct order reinforcing the duty of law enforcement, here in the UK there are heavy fines for those businesses's not following the law
Thank you for your incredible patience & dedication, Dr. Campbell. Wishing you & yours a happy & healthy holiday season. With gratitude, Rebecca Alabama, USA
The situation in NSW on the Northern Beaches is worrying, but the reactions of the public and local businesses are very comforting....the testing centres are working at full speed with a constant flow of people seeking tests, and a lot of high risk businesses such as pubs and cafes have decided to just shut down the high risk parts of their business this weekend without being asked even though it is a very profitable part of the year.
Thing is those people that go to their families for holiday so don’t think about the people that they’re going to spread it to and that’s when I am very angry
Thanks John, In regards to ventilation, I went into Screwfix in Glastonbury today. I opened the door and within 30 seconds a staff member asked me to close it, I said but ventilation is key she replied i dont care im cold. I dont think its sinking in for a lot of people. Good news vit D is sold out in most super markets around me, its really catching on. Better late than never hay, Think that should be the new UK moto :-)
Thank you Dr Campbell, I have been watching for some months and enjoy the videos. Praying that the new restrictions here in N Ireland are effective. Have a lovely Christmas.
Thank you John - may we ask if Astra Xeneca are working with Russia to explore giving the Oxford vaccine with Sputnik does this mean UK patients preferring to receive the Oxford vaccine might be asked to take a shot of Sputnik ? Or will the Oxford vaccine just suppliment the Sputnik in Russia ? Worried about this and would be very grateful for your view
Wish health leaders would tell folks: don't just sit at home and wait for vaccine. Sedentary lifestyle and low Vit D will insure that the vaccine won't work on you. Prep for the vaccine. Minimum : take two 20 minute walks outside every day. Be in sun between 11am to 1pm for at least 15 minutes. Exercise if you are able. Get stronger! The stronger your immune system is the less symptoms you'll get from vaccine and increases chance of it working. It will be 6-15 weeks until most can get it, take this time to PREP up your health. Don't just take 2000 IU of Vit D, take 2000 IU and get 40 minutes of walking in. Eat real food, not junk food. Be thankful for your health and make it job #1.
Thanks for the useful reminder that a good immune system doesn’t come from tablets or out of a bottle. We need to make a bit of effort and look after our general wellbeing with diet and exercise.
Denmark said that they also have found cases linked to the recent mutation in the UK, but nothing about the mink mutation. They said that they have eradicated it and haven't found any new cases linked to it since September
The BBC ran an article about 2 days ago. It stated that the new variant of COVID-19 spreading through southern England had two changes, one of which was the one found in Mink in Denmark. Yesterday I couldn't find this article. The reason given for culling millions of mink was to stop this virus getting back into people and potentially negating the effectiveness of the new vaccinations. I'm not anti-vaccination, but the danger of putting all your eggs in the vaccination basket is the virus will mutate it's way out. Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine with zinc have been shown my a number of studies to provide effective treatment against the SARS-CoV2 virus. Yesterday NICE, Public Health England and Advisory Committee on Nutrition said there's insufficient evidence to prove that Vitamin D3 helps prevent people getting ill with COVID-19. The fact is cheap and effective treatments for COVID-19 will prevent the fast tracking of vaccinations. It appears to me that the interest of big PHARM are being put ahead of the lives.
@BRIGHT B. The mink farms are closed. All stock was culled. Unlike the outbreaks in Wisconsin and Oregon. China has announced that they will not import mink in the future but farm them locally.
@@alp8409 There is no miracle cure. Just that people want there to be one doesn’t make it come true. The good thing about mRNA vaccines is that it’s a delivery platform which is very easily adapted to a different type of spike protein.
Hello Dr. Campbell! I don't know if anyone else has commented about or noticed but, I see your dog is wearing a different face covering everyday. I think it's very good that he wears a clean face covering each day. I wish you a safe and healthy Christmas! Thank you for all you do!
One of the most frustrating things that I find that in the US (and several other countries) that if you think you have covid, is that media and the government want you to isolate in home. But, time and time again, there will be patients that go to the hospital TOO LATE for the professionals. Sure, most have a mild form, but, prescriptions from your doctor can improve your chances against worse outcomes.
Lots of time to practice group dance moves though. thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/530326-boston-medical-workers-go-viral-with-dance-celebrating-vaccine-arrival

Thanks Dr. Always extremely informative. Looking forward to an update on the UK mutation and its possible impact on transmissibility and the need for further lockdown.
My elderly parents will get the vaccine next week, since i`m not in a risk group ill have to wait before it is available to me as well. Cheers from Israel!
@David WP Actually , here in Israel i`m happy to report healthcare call centers were unavailable due to high demand in the last few days and vaccine appointments are overbooked for the next 2 weeks. I promise not to come near you if you`ll extend the same courtesy to me. ;) Have a nice day.
Hi Dr. Campbell, I just thought I would let you know it has been difficult to Hear you for the last 3 days or so! It might just be me, but you might need an adjustment to your mic? Have heard all your videos for the last year and never had a problem before! Thanks!!!
Friend of mine went shopping at tesco arena shopping centre coventry today, Hardly any hand sanitizer or clothes to wipe down trollies the main doors also closed, NO ventilation what so ever, he asked a member of staff about it he replied "You do realise its winter Sir".... It does make you wonder at times.
Dr. John, thank you as always for taking your time and have us updated with proper information. I am wondering if by any chance someone is pulling some strings and this is just a game for them by delaying the Oxford vax just so that the other companies could get more profit of it because we all know how cheap the Oxford one is... Some world we live in....
John you asserted California residents didn’t follow the Thanksgiving rules and that;s why they are experiencing a surge now. What is that based on? I doubt they acted any differently than the rest of us in the US.
You just made your own point and answered your question. Airlines were busy in a covid 19 relative sense remember so it was as you say the same behaviour all over the US.
While general spread may not be effected much by vaccinations until March, as the most vulnerable are to be vaccinated early, it will hopefully lower the load on the health system before that.
No doubt, infection, long-Covid and hospitalisations will rise. Spare a thought for frontline staff and resources under such pressure. I'm already planning for a self-imposed lockdown in Jan/Feb, whatever the 'rules' are. I have no wish to be part of the problem.
Percapita, Tennessee is the *worst* state for Covid cases and deaths in the Union, and Knox Couny (where I live) is the worst county in the nation! We had 724 new cases just yesterday, a record high, and 13 new deaths, which seems to be the standard daily number of late. Prayers for ALL! 😔 PS A good family friend, aged 68, was hospitalized and on a ventilator for 3 weeks - he passed away just this Wednesday past. So sad.
John, there’s the difference in approach... Australia has 20 new cases, and we are closing borders as a result. USA has 250,000 cases (each day) and not much happens. I have a serious question for people from the US: has the country given up trying to control this, and whatever will be will be until the vaccines are rolled out? That’s what it looks like from here.
We are not estimating the true numbers, so it's hard to call the US approach serious. Draconian, sometimes, effective, sometimes, but not serious in a scientific manner.
Hi John. Not trying to be controversial but could you explain how the overall deaths this year compare with the average excess deaths for the past five years. And how this feeds in to the capacity of the NHS. Thanks and thanks for your wonderfully clear explanations👍
The Sydney cases are a strain from the USA from international flight crew ....most of these flight crews are flouting the quarantine restrictions and Now look what happens 😏🙄
That's about to change. Instead of quarantine at home (local flight crew) or in a hotel organised by their airline (foreign), they are now to be quarantined between flights in two specified hotels under Police surveillance. Sydney has borne the brunt of the quarantine workload as it is by far the most important arrival city from overseas. Other states can be very irritating at times as they act as if they are "doing things right" when it's just that there're not getting any overseas arrivals until after NSW has borne the cost of their quarantine in Sydney.
@@tacitdionysus3220 yes it should have been like this from the start why does it always take an outbreak to fix something that should be common sense...
@David WP An excellent and relevant comment David. They do COVID sewerage testing virtually everywhere too, but my understanding is that this outbreak hasn't been there long enough for it to show in those tests as yet.

Congratulations on your channel Dr. Campbell. I have been following your videos since February and it is very rewarding to get scientific and safe information with you. I am a psychologist in a long-term care unit in Portugal and I work mainly with the elderly. This whole problem that haunts us has had a huge impact (as we all know, unfortunately) on the care of elderly and sick population ... Today I heard from the Portuguese media that a new strain of this accursed virus was detected in South Africa, they called it 501.V2. Can you give us some extra information about this variant of the virus? I take this opportunity to wish you a happy and safe Christmas!!! Thanks for everything!!!!
I read an article which suggested that the vaccine contains polyethylene glycol in its formulation and this may be responsible for the anaphylactic shock in some people? I wonder if a similar reaction has been observed with other things that are pegylated like PEGinterferon? It would be interesting to know if that is the causative factor in the adverse reaction to the Pfizer vaccine by a minority of people. I wonder if the AstraZenca vaccine uses PEG?
you forgot to tell why LOL, because we have a state government that used unreliable and worthless contract tracing and would not accept the help offered by the federal government
