Pay-o-tee is the proper way to say peyote. Your work is beautiful, though. I need to make myself some rings.

You have really evolved since you have started I looked back to your beginning videos you started like I did by taking apart old things and making new again. Why did you choose bead weaving and what inspired you to start bead weaving? You have a great style and choice of colors and I really enjoy your tutorials. Thank you for sharing your beadwork with us and keep making more videos I have saw other beaders show off your tutorials in groups I belong with on FB I know you are getting out there and known. Good luck and can't see what you make next I really enjoy your work and tutorials.

Kara, have you ever tried the Miyuki needles? I used the smallest one with Nozue Sonoko thread for my peyote bracelets, and it's the perfect combination. Nozue thread has a tiny bit of bounce to it, making it excellent for peyote stitch and no need for knots either. The smallest Miyuki needle is about 4cm, rather short, but fine, easy to thread and it glides through the Delicas with ease.

Hi there, No I have never heard of Miyuki Needles, definitely will check it out. Unfortunately, I have tried Nozue Sonoko and it wasn’t meant for me. I feel like I’m stuck with Nymo even though everyone else seems to hate it 😬

Hi Kara, I love your tutorials, I notice you use the nymo a lot, do you find it as strong as the fireline? Does it hold up well for your jewelry?

Hi Rhonda, I always work with Nymo. Unfortunately, I can’t compare it to Fireline as I have never tried it 🤷🏻‍♀️😁

Really beautiful! Can I use Toho 11/0 and Toho 15/0 as well as 4mm bicone/pearl?
@KarasBeads
@KarasBeads 4 года назад
Absolutely. Just remember Toho 11 are bigger than Delica 11, so you might have to use bigger bead in the middle or add extra 15s

Hello Kara, Again another beautiful piece. You are very talented and very handy with seed beads. I have viewed quite a bit of your collections even made some for myself. My question to you is, can I make some of your products and sell them?
@KarasBeads
@KarasBeads 4 года назад
Absolutely ) As long as you credit me as designer and don’t start bulk production, you are good to go 💕
@mariadarosa4895
@mariadarosa4895 4 года назад
@@KarasBeads Thank you Kara and will definitely credit you as the designer. For my peace of mind, I just want to understand your view as bulk production as I do have an etsy account as well as Facebook and I do sell my items there and if you're referring as to not sell them to such venues then I won't do it.
@KarasBeads
@KarasBeads 4 года назад
Maria DaRosa as long as it’s you making it with designer as myself, it’s ok. I just don’t want any company hiring people, start making bulk production
@mariadarosa4895

@@KarasBeads I fully understand now. Trust me there's no one making them, my little hands are doing all the work thanks to the Lord. Thank you again and keep on bringing us those wonderful pieces.

Sometimes when I’m beading I accidentally go through my thread and split it! It makes it so the bead doesn’t sit correctly. Is there a way to fix that or prevent it?
@KarasBeads
@KarasBeads 4 года назад
I think it’s just a matter of practice. It used to happen to me a lot especially with Peyote when I was just learning. Or switch your thread. I think it doesn’t happen as much with Fireline
@spunkygmahappy4778
@spunkygmahappy4778 3 года назад
I go back through the thread with the needle, then continue on. Very easy after you find the gap
