Thought I should clarify for those who find this, the title is a bit misleading. This hobbyhorse is factory made, so there's no pattern to buy or download. The DIY part is just decorating it.
It's from a swedish brand (called "Järbo garn") so I don't think it's possible to find outside of Sweden unfortunately :( But it's a 100% acrylic yarn and they say it's good for "Quick knitting" so that might be something to search for to find something similar :) When working with this I didn't really notice anything different from other yarns, it's just a pretty thick acrylic yarn so it shouldn't be too hard to find I think :)
There is unfortunately no pattern for this horse :( it's factory made and so you buy it as a complete piece. So the horse comes already stuffed, has fabric and has a stick. So the only thing you do yourself is adding eyes, mane and markings. Hopefully you can find a pattern for a similar type of horse elsewhere :)
