This is very helpful information. The opinion on Statins is something I want my husband to hear. Thanks so much for making this available. I’m curious if any studies have been done on Covid, Long Covid and Cognitive Decline ?

I work with people in a Care Home for seniors. I noticed a number of them declining cognitively after one or more Covid cases. Yet prior to the Covid the cognitive decline was much more gradual. I’m also aware that the imposed isolation may have contributed to it. I sure wish more was talked about it to younger people, especially if diet is a factor.

"Published in the journal Neurology, the study found that people with the highest levels of HDL cholesterol had a 15 percent higher rate of dementia and those with the lowest levels had a 7 percent higher rate of dementia, compared to older adults in the middle range of cholesterol levels" so HDL may not bee as good as they thought because too low or too high is bad.

Thank you so much for letting us mortals 😁 into your world of scientific methodology and sharing your revelations. I wish more physicians were curious enough to update their outdated knowledge. But the tide is changing, thanks to experts like yourself. Keep up the great work!

Docs can ~only do what our government allows them to do ... The answer is to STOP sending STUPID, low-class, people to govern us ... Maybe then we can have our governing bodies actually help us...
