WAIT THEY DON'T LIKE THE KEYBOARD PART IN TIME TO DANCE? I THOUGHT THAT WAS SUPER SWANKY AND ORIGINAL AND I LOVE IT and I wish they left "Oh dear her infidelity just spilled all over the floor." in the song
I agree with what you said about Time To Dance, it's so weird and upsetting hearing your favorite song being talked down by the ones who actually created it... also London Beckoned is such a bop
I've been a fan since 2005 and seeing this is bittersweet. I miss the good old days and I wish it was like that again. I love Brendon with all my heart and respect their wishes but it would make me so happy to see Ryan and Brendon collaborate on a song together again.
I remember when I first bought it. I was reading the booklet and was very confused... I thought the lost lyrics were just a sort of commentary from the band, it didnt occur to me that they might have been changed haha
This video was a freakin' livesaver, I never knew those were lyrics that were meant to be in the song. I always thought it was like notes of some kind!
i went to look for the whole the or a goddamn door thing in the lyrics book yesterday and i seen that line in IWSNT and i was so shook like?? i've looked through the book before and never seen it
honestly i love basically all of the original lyrics but my favourites are in i write sins, build god and "when i say shotgun you say wedding. or whatever comes to mind" from time to dance
My favorite thing abt AFYCSO Is how fast past and compact the lyrics are- I began listening to the album again last week since a few years & was surprised I remembered all of the lyrics and kept up, I still struggle catching onto more simple songs I listen to much more frequently 😭 But I love this album because it’s such a mouthful to sing and lip sync, it occupies me so much
I remember this interview! And yeah the keyboard sound in the beginning of Time To Dance on the album wasn't the best, I always preferred the second demo of the song. Course I love any version of Time To Dance, but yeah.
im sad you didnt show that sins was "closing A goddamn door" because that fucked me up. i just listened to the song and he totally says "a goddamn door"
I'm probably going to do one on that. Also, in the early days he sang "I'd chime in" (which is how Ryan wrote it) but later on he started singing "I chimed in".
I did it again hmm. yea it seems they just change the lyrics over time. but just the fact that it was originally supposed to be a goddamn door was weird enough for me lol
Beebo's forehead just find it on youtube, and copy the song using youtube to mp3. i have all their demos on my phone and a lot of my favorite live performances
