"Panic buyers" could be buying enough to stay home long term uninterrupted and also could have large families or severe health problems so are they panicked or just smarter than others.? 🤔
Exactly you're 100% right and a lot of people are buying water that they wouldn't normally would not buy . Buy toilet paper that they would normally would not use
Keep them outside. One person leaves one person goes in. Put in place on some essentials that people can only buy one item specially in BJ’s, Costco. One pack alone is enough for a family for a month. They are just going to hoard it and try to sell it at an expensive price.
lavender fields Exactly! They are causing more problems and spreading it more. It doesn’t matter if you don’t think you have it. Instead think like you already have it. If you think that way would you risk getting near people, and trying to contaminate them? would you risk that some family now has a higher chance their elders may be extremely sick? We are trying to avoid being Italy. But they are taking us back there why because they can just do a simple thing and stay home. Really do people want it to be that only certain license plates can shop like it was done after hurricane sandy etc.
1990758 Your right.People are greedy. They don’t even normally drink water. Why get water now?Just drink your soda and leave the water alone for people who would be more than happy to have just a bottle. And I see people are overselling things that we need. They buy the things just to get money from it.When they restock something like toilet paper it’s gone in less than 10 minutes!Sad how greedy people are these days
PSYCHO RAGED I Order supplies. Spray them with disinfectant and let them set a while before putting them away. I am on chemo so I have chose to self quarantine. I watched videos coming out of wuhan and the people who survived it said to self quarantine. The worst will be in about a month. It hasn’t hit us yet. So just prepare as best you can. And don’t worry about the rest. God bless.
@@cabinlifeatedensprings1710 "the people who survived it"? uhhh you do realize that 99.95% of wuhan is still alive right? did you think it was like a wave of apocalyptic death or something like that?
Car Photography This is indeed the irony of it. I have outwitted the system by helping myself to lots of extra napkins at McDs and other eateries. Lucky me, I just used their restroom and both tp rolls were empty!
I know right! But I hadn't even thought about not using paper until 35 years ago, when I lived in Thailand for 2 years. Culture and tradition can really narrow the thought process.
Stores need to have strict limits of how many items you can get! Like instead of 6 items per person, make it 2 items per person of the same product this way others can get what they need, Fairness.
No just the people that normally go to the store every week for a few items now see that the panic shopping is making it where they can't even do. That said if you were smart while you can get it when you can get it you stock up I'm not worried about the virus we're a military family and well prepared but when you see panic buyers you're also going to see people panic and start to break in houses and other crime better have a weapon
Well unfortunately people are forcing once another to buy more than they need. I needed pastas for my elderly mother and due to the one store being totally out when I went to the next that was dwindling I bought a few boxes of her favorite but thats no more than I would typically buy. I have always bought enough to last so I dont have to make frequent grocery runs. Just so happens I ran out right when this crap crisis became a thing. 😩
Well now you're thinking wrong when people are panic shopping and you're trying to stay calm and shop like normal you can't so you buy what you need when you find itand get extra because if this kept going you would never be able to get it you got ungrateful out there thinking only of themselves some people live week-to-week and are not rich and have money we're a military biker family well prepared and we believe in the good Lord I will help my neighbor be part of the solution instead of the problem you run your mouth but what are you doing to help
incase they need to quarintine themselves inside their house to keep the virus from spreading, you need food and toilet paper so you don't go out spreading it lol
First Last that’s my thoughts lol, like all the utilities guys are just gonna be like yeah no problem we will go to work lol, no power= no toilets (for the most part) I got asked yesterday to go to Dallas and do a welding job I told my boss no, he knew I was serious and backed off. I told him find someone else to do it and I will gladly go to the house😂
@@animegeek3109 Those pipes can get stuffed up in time then you'll have a major back up sewage. If you're gonna have diarrhea, you may as well have it while taking a shower , everything is washed away and then afterwards just disenfect the floor with Clorox Bleach, wipe it up really good like you know you should and there you go ready for use. What's the problem here?
I've invented a new game, called "Make the shelves look empty", where you move things all the way to the back, and make them stand as concentrated as possible, to maximise the empty shelf space as possible. That makes the shelf look empty, and -raises- … *_improves_* peoples panic levels! 😈
And they call themselves "civilised". It loathes me to see them "protesting for who know's who's rights" and stuff when actually this their reality; selfish hypocrites who are "civilised" only when their stomachs are full
You people are nuts and are doing nothing to help the situation. I'm a truck driver there will be more deliveries tomorrow and no shortages stop panicking. Seeing you all Panic buying makes me lose faith in humanity stop watching the news
Thank you. I’m so pissed off at these people. I need a loaf of bread and coffee and it’s all gone. I’m not even buying supplies for this virus because the likelihood of catching it is slim right now. I don’t remember this happening with the other recent pandemics. Hopefully, these people will be done hoarding in the next couple days and let the rest of us sane humans do our normal shopping.
Yep, in Britain all the shelves were empty of pasta two weeks ago as everyone was stuffing as much as they could in their shopping baskets. But now everyone has realised it will take them six months to eat what they already have, and so the supermarket shelves are full of pasta again.
So now a month plus into this, people are getting laid off by the millions. Therefore they're trying to return all of their panic buys to the store because there's bills to pay. Luckily the local stores are sticking to the return policies from what I hear. I don't want people opened/infected returned items. They should have thought of this too before they bought so much more than what they needed!
I work in a supermarket in elizabeth new jersey, and panic shopping is going to get the employees sick. Stay home if you're sick, quit panicking, and no supermarket isn't closing down during the pandemic.
Exactly! Avoid mass grocery shopping . Only buy what you really need (in terms of quantity) & do not buy unnecessary thinks - which will all be thrown away, unfortunately :/ There is enough food for everyone, please! No food shortage etc. Also, people rather get infected in overcrowded places like grocery stores...so try to avoid in potential risk areas.
When the ground is loaded with apples and you load up and store them? Prudent. When you buy all 20 apples at the market in a shortage? Well then you're a piece of work. Those who keep deep pantries don't need to go to the store now which means more for those who don't have any. Peace.
@@BodyRocker9 Exactly! Eggs and milk are food items that should be eaten within one or two weeks even though they are refrigerated. Those aren't food emergency supplies to be kept in the basement for years...
EVERYONE START PANIC BUYING EGGS OMFG OMG OMG WE NEED 60 CARTONS OF EGGS OMG OMG NO NOT THE PRECISE EGGS. How Americans react to panic buying everything. 🤦♂️
We’re sustainably stocked, well prepared, and are feeling calm. If you still have any questions, we made a post about how we prepped. Pop over, we’re happy to help!
Nice to see one of these videos where people are not all freaking out. It’s important that people know the shortages are occurring and growing, but it can be dealt with in a rational intelligent manner.
I don't understand ..why the panic..we can still go to stores and they won't run out of food or anything else if people buy just enough My worry is for the shelters and homeless...
Panic buying is like going to war carrying all the guns and leaving nothing for you fellow soldiers to defend themselves with. Its Plainly leaving yourself to a fight a battle you can't win alone.
Why did this woman wait until a shortage? I do not need to go to the store right now and be part of the supply chain problem. Years ago, shampoo was on sale and I bought the only 3 bottles (family of 6) figuring the shelf would restock. Later in the week I went back and none was there. I asked the store and they said none had come in, none was in the warehouse. Then I thought about how many people lived in my town and what would happen to the store if only 10% decided to "stock up" just a little. Math shook me. I decided that I needed to have a deep pantry and that I could not count on the grocery store to be my pantry.
This is no big deal.I have traveled overseas and seen much worse. We have been insulated too long in this county to the realities out there. Deal with it people.
Every payday I check the store specials where I shop. If toilet paper is on sale, I usually pick one up. Needless to say I have plenty of toilet paper, soap, shampoo, dish soap, trash bags, fresh meats for freezer, canned foods, dried beams, pasta, canned meats, juices etc. Maybe the weather is bad...maybe I am sick...maybe just lazy....either way I have what I need and am prepared if or when anything happens. Does not take a lot out of your purse, just one or two items at a time, over weeks they add up in your pantry or closet, and wow, you are ready if and when anything ever happens.
People have ZERO faith, they actually think all that panic buying is worth it. Only buy what you would normally need. Your supplies are common sense, prayer, and faith.
I stocked up 3 weeks ago, because I knew others would do panic buy as I watched the news. These people waiting around the block in the middle of the day at a supermarket now need serious planning skills.
I just don't understand. You put yourself and others at a higher risk of spreading the virus to what? Go to 3 different stores to get "caronavirus supplies" and got the same stuff you already had at home? All that's doing is preventing someone who actually needs those supplies from being able to get it. This video is just helping promote the panic state that people are already acting in.
I'm from Germany and shocked how shops / people disrespect all warnings from the experts - there is no " social distancing" - meaning good 2 meters from next person - visible in so many shops and also in this clip - especially crowds in front of cashiers - in Germany all shops and departments witch queues have "distance markers" on the floor, especially @ cashier - plus - the big chains have downsized the amount of these shopping carts and insist you are only allowed to enter with a shopping car - Things have to be managed ...but from what I see the US haven't even started.
Coouldn't findd bread, toilet paper at sseveral stores; finally gave up. As for the bread, I'll get baking supplies and make my own (if any of Those left). Seen some crazy people in those stores.....
I'm not panicking or worried at all where a military family well trained well prepared a lot of times you have to evaluate the situation when you have panic buyingb common Sense tells you when you can find something to stock up not that you're panicking but that your normal every now and then to the store for supplies has changed some people really need diapers and things like that and when you have greedy selfish people who are panicking it forces you to buy stuff you really need when you can find it and get extras if you can afford it we're a military family and we believe in the Lord I myself and my family will be helping my neighbors part of the solution not the problem people need to be part of that help your fellow brother like the Bible says or you're part of the problemand if you don't believe that then maybe the military the firefighters the healthcare workers and the police should not come to your aid all I can say is when I die I'll go to heaven I've already spent my time in hell but I would never sell my soul and not help my fellow man out like the Bible says and all the people I've listed above those I would trust to have my back in time of war this is not a time for ignorance or arrogance or greed
Let this be a lesson to all of you who talked $h!t about all of us PREPPERS who were preparing LONG before this outbreak! Now maybe you will wake up and see the truth! You can NEVER depend upon the Government to protect you during times like this! So now is the time for you to start apologizing to all of us who you verbally abused for prepping for this kind of $h!t!!!!!
You can go Sunday or Monday morning! Try your local store. WAIT! WAIT! Where is your glove and hand sanitizer??? You touched everything in this store and the camera. Please don't touch the anyone!! Go and watch your hands!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!
The FED can pump another $ Trillion next week if they want, but there is no way you can beat the empty shelves in your local supermarket!! Let's see how the market takes this on Monday.
I have had pneumonia 7 times, I'm just an average guy at 30 years old. Bronchitis hit me hard, but hey... I was overvaccinated 7 times with polio.. so im good there.
Soon they are going to put a limit as to how many lbs of 💩we can deposit, so much toilet paper? I see that isolation can become another problem...a huge one🤣🤣
WAIT! WAIT! Where is your glove and hand sanitizer??? You touched everything in this store and the camera. Please don't touch the anyone!! Go and watch your hands!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!
Food and snack companies/distributors are anticipating production issues this week and beyond. Not the end of the world but I'd urge people to at least make a real good shopping trip in the next few days.
Unfortunately, this is how you have to react during a pandemic or other widespread disaster situation. We CANNOT and SHOULD NOT trust our local, state and federal government to provide for us when times get desperate.
Well, as a lot of people pointed out, this was the worst way to react because people were the ones that created the shortage. It might have been understandable if it was products that had to be imported like meats, fresh produce, some dairy products. But products like toilet papers, which people can take weeks, sometime months to finish a bulk package, was unnecessary. The scarcity we saw was cause of overbuying. Price gouging was caused by ovrbuying. The rationing by stores were caused by overbuying. There are grocery store employees who commented how scared they were while trying to stock shelves because of people's behavior. It made the situation unsafe for everyone.
I have the virus however my hand is forced to go out and buy things because people are hoarding all the resources. I cannot stay quarantined if I have to go out and worry rather I will have enough medicine, sanitation stuff and other hygiene products because people taking more than they actually need. Thanks for nothing people you only made things worse. I don't have anyone to buy these things for me and they are sold out online. So think before you judge me.
Good luck, you are way too late for those supplies, I wouldn't go these days, way too many people, too many germs. Everyone should have been ready by now.
I saw people stealing the complimentary wipes for the shopping carts. It's getting hectic out there. Go shopping in teams to get the best results. Be healthy, be safe.

I would get a lot of supplies if it was the zombie apocalypse
Every shops, restaurants, gyms, any gatherings, etc should have a sign...”Come and enjoy at your own risk. We’re not responsible for your health. We do our best to sanitize. Ty for your cooperation. There are some people who are so afraid then let these people stay home and hide. There are people who aren’t afraid to die cause for me I have Jesus and I’ll be with Him everlasting life if we are a believer of Christ...John 3:16/14:6. Hope you get to know Christ. He gives a warning about these chaos in Matthew 24:1-50 but those who are faithful til the end will be save...🙏🏽🙏🏽😜😜
I work in one of the big chains grocery store here in the UK and I'm at war with everyone atm. I'm so afraid for my life. I'm willing to go unpaid and self isolate to protect myself and people around me but I'm not allowed as it's the most craziest time ever and they are struggling with short staff! My anxiety is on top of the roof as a lot of sick people come to the store without even knowing they're sick... they're not providing us hazmat suits like China nor advising us to wear masks with protective glasses... I have to say people are incredibly stubborn here and think it's all jokes so they continue to spread the virus ... 😔
