My son wandered off at an event..he was in a bounce house, snuck out the side and was looking for cotton candy... I'll never forget the crippling fear..it is debilitating. He was 3 at the time. An angel on earth recognized him from when she saw us earlier and held his hand, looking for me. I was in tears. I owe her my life.

I once lost my little sister outside the school gates at 9 years old which was a big panic for me and my mum.. ☹️ Turns out she found her own way home because my home is about 2mins away from the school and we found her after 10 mins of searching! My sister is 10 and im 15 years old now. I will never forget this experience.. God bless to everyone who ever experienced this. ❤ Love from the UK 🇬🇧

Very terrifying, especially because they found him playing in the water, all it could have taken was one slightly bigger than normal wave to knock him off his feet and he would have been swept out and never seen again

My family and i went swimming in a lake, i was talking to my mom and aunt i didnt know my husband had taken my son "about 4" at the time to the shore to play in the sand. I didnt see him in the water with anyone so i freaked out! The thoughts that went through my head in the 10 to 15 seconds of not being able to see him were a parents worst nightmare. I could just imagine what this mother is going through. Im glad they found him. Mom wont let either of her kids out of her sight ever again. Love the happy ending.

This is a very bad situation. Many parents lose their children in populated beaches every day, although most of these situations take 5 minutes, some of these situations can take hours or even days. It's important that a child must know to stay at the same spot if they were lost. Although I wouldn't blame anyone if the child got lost just because this happens so frequently for children in well populated places.

When I was a child at a beach. the waves were going diagonal than straight onto the beach. I did not know so I was taken nearly 2 miles down the shore. I didn't know where I was when I came out of the water. I talked to a life guard and they called in that they found me. I don't know I was "missing" or how long I was gone. Now that i'm older, I get it. Water moves fast. As an emergency service dive rescuer, things don't always work that way. I love that things worked out here

This comment is weird. A parent SHOULD care enough to react this way if they think their child is dead or in danger. I'm not saying it's not better to keep your cool but her reaction shows how much her kids mean to her and how absolutely terrified she was that something horrible had happened to him.

Those Police woman's are Just Useless piece of 💩... In stead of searching for her son they were Just keep asking and asking... These Men's are the Hero who lastly Found her son and if you notice they didn't waste their time as soon as they got to know about the missing kid ... Preliminary they take some information from the parents and just go for search operation immediately.. Truly appreciate their Works 👍👍👍👍👍

Because the five year old doesn't understand the gravity of the situation, like the mother does. The mother knows that her son could've drowned or been abducted. And there is nothing worse that can happen to a parent than losing their child. The mother's situation is not comparable with the situation of the five year old sibling.

The small children don't understand the danger. She's grappling not only with the danger her child is in, but the helplessness of being unable to find him on that enormous beach and the guilt of having lost him. You're obviously not a parent yourself.
