I have been inviting as many people as I can to see/hear these great messages and it seems most will not listen. I have an Ex sister in law who is so stubborn she is Jehovah witness - maybe she will receive it one day but Ppl are very stubborn these days. Those who do not know any Bible knowledge are better and more receptive. Praise God I happily gobble up the truth being shared nightly by these fine programs.

That's already expected for people nowadays, they are concern only to worldy things but not of God. But they will surely realize just like in Noah's days that when they call for God's help, they couldn't find Him because it's too late for them to repent especially when they realized that only God can give salvation to those who wants to follow God's will.
Good Sabbath family of God from Cape Town SA. I always enjoy pr Doug's scriptural filled sermons. During this sermon pr Doug mentioned a Jewish book titled the ascension of Moses which claims that Moses was resurrected after three days. According to Deut 34 v 8 the children of Israel mourned and wept for Moses thirty days and after thirty days of mourning God spoke to Joshua in this manner Joshua 1 v 2"Moses my servant is dead, therefore arise go over this Jordan thou and all this people unto the land which I give to them, even to the children of Israel". Therefore it could not have been after three days that Moses was resurrected but probably three days after the mourning period was expired because God could not refer to Moses as being dead knowing that he had already raised him from the dead. However according to Jude 9 I too believe that he was resurrected so he could view the children of Israel marching into the promised land. I'm a humble Bible student and open to further suggestions and instructions. God bless Amazing facts ministries
Thank you Pastor Doug for this message. The part toward the end that speaks about the state of the dead is a great comfort to me. My husband of 32 years passed away suddenly from a stroke on the 14th of this month. We are Adventists.

I agree! My husband came from a culture of 'screaming preachers', which was always a turn off for me. It is for him now, too, after watching many of Pastor Batchelor's sermons/teachings. He presents the truth in a clear, respectful manner. What a joy to learn from him (and some other SDA preachers, as well).

God always existed, also reflect on the sayings, , , I am, because I am, the I am! , , if we look at what this indicates in English grammar, , , it is "past, present and future tense!" God as such always existed, , we just (at this time) cannot comprehend this fully! (as a scientist this is my view)

Pastor Doug, when you were talking about the spirits coming in the guise of a loved one or the feeling of the loved ones presence, it brought back a memory of something I'm wondering about. After My Mom passed away, for a long time afterwards when I was between being awake and asleep, I would hear here Audibly call out to me and I would wake back up and say something back, forgetting for the moment that she wasn't there anymore. I'm guessing this is commonplace?? I'm thinking that it's just a recording within my mind that was playing back a memory because I was thinking a lot about her and regretting not doing more for her when She was going through losing My Sister only a year before. I guess my question would be, is this another tool the demons would use to make one second guess the Bible?? To Hear a recently departed loved one? @Jeff Quinn ... I think you are right that this is a common thing. When my dad passed away, my mom would sometimes hear him call her during the night (as he was, for a time, in a hospital bed in the living room before being transferred later to hospice). I also have been awakened before by someone calling out my name, but I don't know who it was. That sleep/dream state can get really weird! Another occurence was that a close relative of mine used to talk with his deceased mother while he was on a certain prescribed drug! But please feel free to comment back if you find out more because this Could be part of a deception- or at least the beginning of one. Either way, I definitely believe the Bible that "the dead know Nothing." (Ecclesiastes 9:5) Take care!
With all my heart I believe it is deception of bad spirits (aka. demons). When you "arm" yourself with the truth about the state of the dead, you unmask the devil. If the evil or his agents try to deceive you with the voices or embodiment of your loved ones, plead to God for deliverance and he'll send His angels to protect you. Someone I love dearly began telling me about how an E.T was attempting to communicate with him...and he felt "right" & "safe" in it's presence. As it began to appear more frequently, staking out his house, I felt an urgent need to warn him. Although reluctantly at first, I shared with him the Bible truth--and asked him to be on guard and not trust his own senses, but to put his trust in God completely-and pray to God for discernment and for protection. The devil, you see, is the father of lies and deceit. Know that whenever given the opportunity, he will utilize even your own senses against you. I leave you with the following verses on how the Bible tells us we can guard ourselves against the devil's deceptions: "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Can you clarify, friend, what you meant by some saint comes back and "has spirits"? Just don't want to assume what exactly you meant. Also, don't forget that Satan also has the power to perform miracles according to the Scriptures. Revelation 13:13, 14 says, "13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live."
I really value these videos and I think Mr. Doug Batchelor is very smart and a KIND giver of the WORD. I don’t adhere to a specific religious sect, but CHRISTis my SAVIOR, if you could answer my question… do we as fallible humans need to commit to a religious sect? I find some to be.. inappropriate and find more comfort with not being committed to a denomination. God, Christ and Holy Ghost are my denomination❤❤❤

He was promised to be with Jesus in paradise.
I would go even further and say that if you’re not having actual living, true, scripturally aligned experiences spiritually in your walk with the Lord; where it’s evident that He’s working in your life, and you can see this manifestation. Where you are experiencing Him in such ways as to glorify Him in every single aspect of your life because His hand and blessings are that prominent and clearly seen in your life, that you know undoubtedly who you are in Christ-if you’re not bearing those good fruits, have not continually let Him work though His Holy Spirit through the process of sanctification (being made holy) and have not come into such an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ as the Father, then something is most definitely wrong in your walk. And Jesus may not know you at all. The door of probation may be up for you. I’m sorry, I know that this may sound a bit harsh, but we need to stop being so lukewarm and get people more on fire 🔥 for God! Because whether you like it or not, He’s at the door, about to step through. You should be having very personal experiences with Jesus that are manifesting in your life by now as you are walking beside Him at this point, following His lead. Glorifying God as our Creator and Savior, obeying His commandments and loving others as ourselves. Can you truly say that it is no longer you who lives but Christ in you? Can you honestly say that you’ve given your entire life over to Christ Jesus? Can you say that He’s called you His friend and not kept things from you? Have you been blessed with the gift of prophecy like Paul told us to earnestly seek so that we can communicate and understand Christ Jesus and our Creator more through the mysteries He will reveal to you? Have you been trained up in this gift to hear Him? Are you letting Him guide you and whatever you see Christ Jesus do you know it’s from the Father? Do you have inside jokes? Do you know His personality? Can you honestly say you’ve spent enough time to get to know Him?🧐 Are you doing God’s will and does your life attest to His will being clearly seen? Or are you doing your own will going your own way? Possibly doing the bear minimum and are therefore lukewarm and have no suitable wedding attire on? Matthew 7:21-23 NIV True and False Disciples “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Drugs are definitely being used (just like alcohol abuse) to cloud people's minds & judgement. I knew a lady who worked at a lab, & she was saying there is a drug called "dragon's breath".. it can be "blown" on unsuspecting people & they will pretty much go along with whatever that person suggests.. I haven't looked this up to verify, but wouldn't be surprised at this being true- Just like we used to hear of "spanish fly" being dropped into someone's drink at a bar. So God is giving us warning that in these last days drugs, or certain "pharmaceuticals," will be used to aid in deception. *And that probably will not be on the warning label!
"To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord".....so sad that so many christian churches(not SDA) are still misinterpreting this verse and believe the dead are alive in heaven with the Lord..

God ask us to love Him so that it will be well with us. If we love God then we have and know love for God is love. However, God does not force us to love Him. God gave us free will. Once we know God, how can one not Love such a wonderful, loving, merciful, patient, kind, protecting, Holy, righteous, from everlasting to everlasting full of goodness and truth God. Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
Professor Walter Veith explained it as this in his series called "Total Onslaught." There was a period when compromise came in and corrupted the pure faith of the church. Jesus, of course, is know as He that gives living water. Compromise allowing paganism into the pure faith turned the symbolical waters of salvation into bitterness. The people that drank of this symbolic bitter water, which represented the pure faith mixed with falsehood, died a spiritual death, not a literal one. Because if you drink of this polluted fountain what is the result? Separation from God, which will result in a very literal eternal death.

I just don't get it. There are other beings on numerous unfallen worlds, yet He, Jesus, opted to take our form, forever married to us. Why? WHY??? We fell... we disowned Him. Yet His Throne will be set up on the New Earth, with Earth becoming the Capital of all Creation. Why do we deserve this awesome privilege of God Himself forever dwelling with us? I just don't get it. We don't deserve this..

Well you also have the thief on the cross that was with Jesus the same day. Jesus told him so or is there a difference between Paradise and Heaven? I've often wondered about that. Then you have "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". That doesn't sound like soul sleeping to me. What about Luke 16:22-23 "And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom." This man clearly was in Hell and talked and felt the pain. Clearly Lazarus was in Heaven along with Abraham. I hear facts along with scripture being presented from both sides of whether we sleep or go immediately to be with the Lord or in Hell. Main thing is to make sure you will get there one day whether you go immediately or sleep. Make sure you know the Lord.
Pastor Doug has explained these points above you have listed, either in this or previous episodes. May I suggest you watch again. There was enough biblical evidence to say the dead are asleep until the resurrection. The thief on the cross will eventually be in paradise/heaven when Jesus returns. He promised him on that day. :)
@@papflower610 I've been watching him for years. He presents and explains very well but so do others who believe we go immediately to be with the Lord. That was the point I was making. Which ever side they are on they can use scripture and present it well both ways. And Jesus didn't promise the thief that one day you will be with me he said today you will be with me. Big difference.
@@seekingtruth1110 What Jesus said was “I say to you today, you will be with me in paradise.” He was saying, “I am telling you now….” It makes a big difference where the comma goes. If it was “I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise” then it would be “today he would be in paradise.” Also, remember - JESUS DID NOT GO TO PARADISE THAT DAY. He was dead for 3 days and did not rise until the 3rd day. Why would the thief go to paradise before Jesus?
@@sshelget "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." That is what He said depending upon what bible you read. I understand what you're saying just like I understand what others say about the same versus but have another opinion. My point is not about going back and forth but that both cases have good scripture and presentations from both sides.
