I am confused, I thought the second coming referred to in many scriptures was about when Jesus returns for his thousand year reign and the Rapture is a separate event... Can someone elaborate ? Several of the scriptures quoted in this video says Second Coming but is being used in in context of when you are speaking about the rapture, so it is a little confusing for me. I have always thought the rapture happens before the tribulation but i cant really find verses that back that up. For example Matthew 24:29-31 makes it sound like it is at the end maybe right before Gods wrath is poured out on the earth. After most of my research I am really leaning toward like a mid tribulation rapture. However I am not an expert on this so I am hoping you can give me some guidance?

@@jamiedupree944 When the Rapture happens Jesus comes for His Saints before the tribulation begins and comes back with His Saints at the end of the Tribulation. There are 2 parts of Jesus 2 nd coming. Part 1 is the Rapture. Part 2 is when He comes back to punish the evil and set up His kingdom.

Hi Pastor Doug Don’t you believe the late SDA Ron Wyatt when he claimed he found the Arc of the Covenant? He also found the Red Sea Crossing and so much more as well. Even Ellen White said we would find it before end times.

Crena Dokic kind of hard to not believe he found those sites ,since other explorers have also visited those places and posted their videos. Now the real question to me would be: Pastor Doug do you believe that Christ's blood physically dripped on the earthly mercy seat made by Bezaleel the Son of Uri ? To be honest it doesn't matter what Pastor Doug believes, or even if Ron Wyatt actually found the Ark of the Covenant. What matters is are you keeping the law that's inside of that ark. That is the only salvation issue. The rest will be obsolete , when God comes back it will be revealed.

I was raised SDA ...but he uses the word rapture which is what the Anti-Christ will use to deceive practically the entire world. What are your thoughts on that ?

I will be praying!!! For belly pains, eat less. small meals with milder, unspicy foods. I'm not at all sure this is the answer but I Know that PRAISING GOD in the storm, is the only answer to all the trails world wide. Be certain you (myself included) forgives EVERYONE, remembering it's a choice, not a feeling. I have been suffering with stomach pain, then Cancer, then a few other very painful and debilitating illnesses and am now 90% bedridden. But God spoke to me, in my spirit, in 2012...that He was going to take me through something hard but that he would be with me. I'm sincerely SO VERY SORRY for the horrible things you've all experienced but i guarantee that "PRAISiNG & CHOOSING" to trust Christ, is the ONLY real answer and trusting in His Promises. Speak Them Out Loud...Like Phil. 1:6, Ezekiel 36:26, Jeremiah 30: 16-17 & many many more. Trust (not by your feelings, for that is often satans play ground) God Character, His Word...for HE CANNOT LIE!!!! Hold on to Jesus, we don't have 10 years, we are getting very close to the end. Closer than people, whose lives are less painful, for now, would choose to believe. "Praise & Be Raise, Complain & Remain"!! Agreed. If the rapture occurs after the 7 year trib we would know the day ... 3 1/2 years after the Antichrist declares himself God in the temple. It is also quite clear from scripture there are two distinct separate events, one to meet in clouds with Jesus to go to the mansion he has prepared the other with the saints in great glory and power to Jerusalem to reign and rule for 1000 years. Context and joining the dots in this incredible Book is everything..Praise God for his Word and study it. God bless

David Davis Again no one knows the day or the hour , but that does not mean the season. Why bother to give the signs if you're not supposed to keep watch. Would have been a futile effort on Jesus's part , and a waste of his valuable time. "Now learn a parable of the fig tree ; when his branchis yet tender and putter he forth leaves you know that summer is nigh : so likewise ye ,when you shall see all these things ,you know that it is near , even at the door. Matthew 24: 32-33. 1st Thessalonians 5:1-4 says We need not be in darkness that the day would overtake us like a thief. By this verse we know that it will not be a surprise to his followers. I've given you two biblical references , two witnesses ,Matthew and Paul.

Yes there is. Word might not be there in English, but in Greek and Latin it is. And it is used, I believe, 3 times. Each referring to being caught up. Lot of deceiving goes in SDA from what I have watched.

Tribulation is God's wrath upon non believers. Might want to reread all the wrath God will pour out during the Tribulation in Revelation.
