I really love how rare Phil's early vocals sound, they are set up during a time just before they became big, it's like the remnants of the old just caught for Cowboys from Hell era before almost entirely disappearing by Vulgar Display Of Power (save for the clean parts on 'This Love' and 'Hollow') - His vocals from this first era really make you wonder for the what if's they could've done as a band with that sound and especially he focused on proper singing techniques and breathing control etc.

Right before Dimes signature Dive Bombs Vinnys triplet bass drum rolls and Phil's tough man vocals and Rex's killer bass that is the only bass that could be in this band+ hair. They all were about to set trends individually. Its simply amazing.
