As a fan back in the 90s it is sad to see all these clowns with their cell phones recording in the crowd. Not even moving. In the 90s your phones would have been destroyed. It was like going to war to see a Pantera show.
@thepathofzero8621 Thank you. I can't imagine being lucky enough to see Pantera Live and stand there watching it through my phone. It's such a waste. Live in the moment and enjoy it, 90s style. Rock on brother.
If they made music under a different name it would be cool, but don't f*ck up Pantera's legacy man that would be a huge middle finger to the brothers who started this band years before Anselmo joined the band.
Saw them saturday and had no idea it was added to the list. I thought cowboys should be it, what else do they play? Pleasantly surprised. Seen them 92 and twice in 94 and never thought I would experience that massive power feel again. They delivered.
Y'all stupid AF to think the OG fans are haters for actually respecting the Abbotts and having a discernable ear that's not fooled by Hakk's butching of these songs
This was such an awesome show. Far exceeded my expectations. I was fortunate enough to see them 4 times back in the day. Things can never truly be the same, but they are doing the brothers proud. \m/
This is the real deal if you have any reservations about not checking this out on this run. It is absolutely necessary. Long time Pantera fan and I was not expecting this. The videos don't do it just. You gotta see this in person.
I saw them 5 times in the 90's and they were untouchable live! Diehard fan since 1991 and I am happy as hell they're bringing those great songs live to another generation! Stronger Than All! 🤘🎸
It’s cool af seeing pantera live on after tragedy. Hats off to Zak too. He’s killing a lot of these solos and harmonics. Amazing job by Phil and everyone. I thought this was great to see!!!
@@sarcophage Dime was notorious for playing studio quality solos despite being blackout drunk. While he had a few solos that differed from the album, he would play the live version the same way over and over. Meanwhile, this greedy fossil Hakk Mylde couldn't touch any of Dime's solos, whether live or album
@@maxk6867 you didn’t ever go to any Pantera shows did you? also Dime took playing live super seriously and almost never drank before shows, except in the Extreme Steel tour when the wheels were coming off
I feel so privileged to be there to see this with my brothers. Pantera is my favorite band. It ment so much to me to be there. I will forever treasure this. It was everything I hoped for and more. Rip vin and dime.
I do too !! I had not seen them live since I was a Junior in H.S ,growing up in suburbs of Chicago! I Got to experience them here in my now home state and town !!!Their music and metal in general helped me cope with many events and frustration, during many rough times through out in my life and youth !It Was a memorable incredible experience ,I will always cherish and NEVER FORGET!! It was a great way to connect with my past and Still ROCKED JUST AS HARD AS EVER!!🖤🤘
Current bands take note: The amount of POWER coming from just 3 people, and the thundering vocals of Phil... THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE MY FRIENDS!!!! I admit I've had bad feelings about Phil in the past, but he's doing it right. I've been wanting to see Pantera live for 25 years or so, but I doubt I'll be able to catch them... ROCK ON MY DUDES!!!!!
@brandonmcsorley9579 agreed! No guarantees that Phil's voice is gonna hold out for a second tour leg or even this entire stretch so better get in while he's still in this form!
I saw this lineup in Stuttgart, great show. Of course brothers are not there, but to see Rex and Phil with Zakk and Charlie putting an awesomr show like this.. guys, this is pure awesome brutality
Not seeing them since 2001 I had my doubts. This show was fkn amazing! From top to bottom they sounded incredible. Phil sounds like it’s ‘98. If you’re debating going to see a PanterA show do yourself a favor and go! Also Lamb of God was totally brutal🤘🏼
Self admitted most people on this site are far bigger Pantera fans than I am and more educated on the band. I respect what an important and talented band they are. What I am really happy to see is the respect level in the comments from the fans. It's good to see fans showing love to this version of Pantera. It seems any band trying to go on without all original members gets endlessly hammered with adolescent and hateful comments. I'm glad most Pantera fans have seen through the hate and came out to support this version and keep Dime and Vin memory alive for newer generations
I hate to be that dude, but I'm gonna have to be that dude. They should be calling themselves Cowboys From Hell or something. These guys are rocking, but Pantera they are not. Vinnie Paul was very clear before he died that there is no Pantera without Dimebag Darrell. I would say without Vinnie and Darrell it just isn't Pantera. I'm a huge Zakk fan and Pantera fan with all that said, and I am going to see these guys live, but I'm not going to pretend this is the real Pantera, it's just a Phil solo act or a cover band in my mind. I witnessed the real Pantera live 4 times, nothing compares.
@@mattlaszlo3781 I think you make a point and like I said you are probably a bigger Pantera fan than I am so you would know more about Dimebag and Vinnie wishes for the band Where I think you make a good point is I wonder what people would be saying about this Pantera semi reunion if they didn't get Zakk Wylde as the guitar player but got just a younger unknown guitar player would the credibility still be the same? I think by getting Zakk Wylde his name boosted The credibility of it even though he never had anything to do with the band but I don't think the response would be the same if it was an unknown player This isn't like Motley Crue where John five steps in for Mick Mars. For their whole career the three known rockstars for Motley Crue were Vince Tommy and Nikki even people who knew nothing about Motley Crue like my parents still knew those three guys because they were always out in the public with marriages and reality shows etc and Mick was the quiet guy who was Loved by Motley Crue fans but not known as some worldwide With Pantera that's a whole different ballgame Dimebag was always the foundation of Pantera especially creatively that's what it seemed like to me at least he was the engine of the car
Pantera with Charlie B and Zakk are kicking everyone's ass! This had to happen! Dime and Vinnie would love this! Fuck Yeah and Getcha Pull Beers Up! Circle pits all around! Badass video!
When I saw them back in December as soon as the first note hit it was like some strange power took over the crowd. This such an unbelievable and unforgettable experience to witness. Great to see the world tour still in full force. Thanks for the up.
It was my 4th time seeing them. The whole show was great. Slaughtered and strength beyond strength was the highlights for me. Charlie held it down solid drummer
The tone isn’t quite there (probably never will be and that’s fine) but he has tightened up CONSIDERABLY since the early dates. I think it’s safe to say he’s gotten more comfortable and is “feeling it”.
Here's a show they did opening for Black Sabbath in 1999. Great sound quality! I was there and they tore us a new asshole. LOL ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-akbUyiQGba4.html
I was in section 2, row K. Second time seeing Pantera. The other was on the Extreme Steel Tour. I swear, you could feel Zakk channeling Dime during his end solo on Planet Caravan. Brought me to tears.
Phil sounds so good and so much better than he sounded just 4 years ago at the Exit festival. I dont know what he is doing but I hope he keeps doing it.
Back at the 90s when I was in high school. I learned how to play every single one of these songs. Oh, my God… I can't believe that this has Happen this day in the year of our Lord period period oh my goodness, look at the effects in the background the video, the Lights, Everything is AWESOME!!!, it's sad that we're Missing 2 of The Greatest musicians on stage. The guys that are filling INR really good, though. This is very well put together... I can't think of too many peopaul that could substitute... I've seen Pantera on the 90s on every tour. Here in Florida and I'm so grateful. And the first oz fest in 97. I'd like to see these guys in person and have backstage and kick it with them
Phil you did it brother I hope to see you again I'm in Enid okla now I left Dallas in 99 we got heads tats the same night if you read this hit me up thank you for making me get up and sing full volume with you it fills good to be back to the early 90sat the forum
So, the guy who betrayed the original Pantera and publicly called for Dimebag to be beaten up, and some say that had dire consequences, sounds great? Of course he does, living off the genius of the brothers who went to their grave. No sympathy here.
That scream on slaughtered sounded amazing..the haters have been silenced.. haven't seen one negative comment from someone at any show sho were there.. everyone is enjoying it and they are having a blast performing..love it..cant wait to see them in California
I was at this live and as a 23 year old it’s still kinda surreal. Never thought I’d have the chance to see Pantera live, even if Dimebag and Vinnie weren’t there to perform I feel like Zakk and Charlie performed through them. Amazing experience
The visual aspect of this show is SO much better than the festival shows they did, thanks for posting this, I'll be seeing them in Syracuse 🤘 it's going to be fucking awesome, Whooaahh Yeeah!! Getcha Pull!!!
MOTHERF^^KING MAGNIFICENT!! The Bros have been honored like nobody else could have done. You guys(all four of you) are a class act. Everyone knows youre stars already but you tore shit up humbly. I love you guys. Nobody should feel anything but proud as hell of y"all after that display of brutal sound and utmost respect for your bros in the sky.
Was a fn awesome show. I was surprised how good Phil sounded being he’s like 55 or so. Still hit all the notes and did an awesome job!! Zakk….. unbelievable
