Raised in dallas everone knew someone connected to the Band. Joe's Garage bar was they're home base. When Vulgar display came out It Exploded here. Every Red light you'd hear it in another Car. I moved 80mi west but still Listen. I wish we could have gotten Old Togather. RIP Dimebag & Big Vin. They're music is timeless.
I WENT TO JOES BEFORE I WAS EVEN LEGAL TO DRINK... THE BAND I RODIED FOR WAS TRIPWIRE BACK IN THE LATE 90'S, WE ALWAYS HUNG OUT..ABNER WAS MURDERED SEVERAL YEARS LATER AFTER CLOSING DOWN JOES. SUCH A LEGACY!
You ruined what could've been a really solid documentary with a bunch of AI generated and upscaled horseshit. Please delete this and re-edit it to have proper pictures of the band that have NOT been butchered by AI upscaling. It is completely unnecessary and ruins the pictures... Oh and that thumbnail is awful, use a real photo of Dimebag and not some random AI generated image.
The only thing you got wrong is Philip stayed at Darrells house for the recording of Reinventing The Steel. The band was pretty close on the final record. The album cover is literally from a night of them all partying at Darrells place. The dude in the cover is Philip's tech guy Dustin. The issues recording came on TRENDKILL. For this reason Dimebag insisted they record together on RTS. Also, what is often forgotten is the band went on a PLANNED BREAK specifically so *all four members* could work on side projects they were sitting on.
There’s a brief period, but very detailed and important time in between Glaze leaving and Anselmo entering that was skipped. There could be another short film made on this time.
who drew your thumbnail Ai. you got a terrible picture of dime playing a 9 or 10 string guitar come on im not even gonna watch the video because anyone who cared about music wouldn't make such a ridiculous thumbnail
I've been to a lot of shows as well, certainly not as many as yourself but I agree. The best 2 bands I've ever witnessed live was Black Sabbath and Pantera.
There will never be a band like PanterA. Its a once in a lifetime force of perfection. The intense talent of all 4 members together will never be seen again.
We were able to see 15 “Power Metal” era concerts in a 14 month period between June 1989-August 1991. One of these shows was the infamous 1989’s Panteras New Years Eve Puke Party in Houston, Tx at the Club AfterDark off TX290 and Magum Road.
I remember where I was when I first heard CFH. I was blown away and i immediately knew this was something very different. Hearing the first song, CFH, very unique. Then I heard Cemetery Gates and I was blown away with Phil's vocals, with Dime's playing. It was something I'd never heard before. They have been, to this day, my favorite band. Each member was perfect! They invented a whole new genre! That's very impressive. Dime was so animated on stage and off! Phil was such a great front man. Unlike many other bands, Pantera never sold out. They just got harder. Dimebag is my favorite guitarist. I play guitar too. Learning Pantera song's were difficult for me. I'm no where near his level. I keep practicing though. They are the best metal band ever. I listen to them, everyday. My Parrot loves Pantera too and she sings along with their song's. Long live Pantera!!! This is a very comprehensive explanation of Pantera. Thank you for doing this video. It's actually one of the best I've ever heard!!! ❤️
23 mins in...are there going to be "any dark secrets"...I mean it's pretty much a visual wiki vid..but the title is click bait, unless the next 20 mins is all dark secrets lol
"Small town atmosphere of Arlington Tx," its a 400k population suburb in a metro area of 8 million. Even back in 1980 it was a 160k population city and DFW had a population of 2.6 million.
