Something interesting I've noticed: dung defender and white defender always laugh during their fights. This means they're either both high as fuck or are genuinely just having fun during the fights. Maybe both.
Well, if you attack dung defender while he’s sleeping, the armor just knocks you back. I guess this means the knight literally can’t hurt him, so he can laugh all he wants
Hell yea, another huge achievment for hk community. Knew someone would get it eventually but a hell of a grind. Such clean movement as well. Congrats on worlds first.
Very hyped for the influx of players now emboldened by the idea this is not only possible but realistically doable. About time the community had more interest in bindings IMO.
The words "realistically doable" are used very very liberally right there. I wonder who will be second tho? And I agree that more ab players would be awesome.
One man stands atop Hallownests peak. Alone. The one who has not just Ascended the greatest heights of Hollow Knight, but Transcended them. Undisputed. I only have 1 question. How's the view?
Can someone explain how it’s possible at 41:13 that he shade dashed twice in less than a second? It should be on cooldown when the boss crashes down after fainting him, no? Or am I not seeing it properly?
The first dash is not a shade dash, the black aura around him that you might have mistaken for the shade dash animation is the recovery from a previous shade dash
simply just doing absol from 47:25-51:22 alone hitless all bindings is very difficult. but the entirety of p5? that is something i simply cannot imagine accomplishing.
I think they need to fix dung\white defender. As hilarious (and helpful) as it is to juggle the boss, this is the kind of cheese a certain British tea drinking streamer would enjoy.
Looks like a TAS run. I understand why people are so hesitant to believe this is legit. 1. there are weird parts where it looks like he should have been hit. 2. a lot of whats going on here is pixel perfect movement, like that of TAS 3. It's from China and there's a stigma around the Chinese cheating in games. This could be a legit run, or it could be fake, but either way, it seems that it's being considered legit. If he did in fact do this legitimately, good on him, but also, if he was able to fool everyone into believing this is a legit run when it's not, again, good on him. Either way he's very talented.
1. Visuals do not equal hitboxes, most common mistake people make when accussing people of cheating you can see visuals overlap in almost any hitless run, including mine on my channel from a Radiant orb attack (hitbox is smaller then visual) 2. This isn't pixel perfect movement and i doubt you are the degree of skill to judge that according to your first comment #1 3. This is just stupid as fuck. There are cheaters from all countries and thinking of china cheater is a BIG OOOF. You can be critical of runs but at least have the information and skill to make a full accusation with proof and screenshots ect. Most of these people accusing don't know shit. If you have any questions on specific parts feel free to ask me as a 2 x hitless runner.
@@Oops-q6o what you just typed apparently translated to "Yi performed Ding Zhen and was identified as a noble object in Chu Province" and I don't think that's what you meant when typing this comment.
@@ashtinpeaks9972 I didn't say or not say whether this run was legit or not so the only "stupid as fuck" thing here is your comment. With that out of the way, thank you for your pretentious reply. Congrats on getting a hitless run on P5, that's quite impressive. Too bad it wasn' an unlockable achievement. I know how hit boxes work and I know thing's over lap...that' still doesn't change the fact that the way he plays looks a lot like a TAS run. Cheaters might be everywhere, but the world has seen most of the cheaters come from China. China has a really bad problem with this and if you deny it, you are a fool and purposely being ignorant to the data. Why do you think people don't want to play online with the Chinese? Because they're known for cheating... Like I said, this could be a legit run, but it might not be, either way it's impressive...so yea, no accusation, just stating what I see. I actually just came across a really interesting reddit thread that was talkiing about how Chinese don't care how they succeed at something, just so long as they do. ....I mean, look at the Olympics that just happned...they were found to be cheating....so yea, you're the one with the big L on this one...BIG OOF Don't get me wrong, other countries were found to be cheating as well, but the reddit thread that I found put a spot light on the situation that I am talking about specifically. Here is a snippet of the Reddit thread: First thing I want to talk about is the choice between vanity and honor. There is a slang in China, “a child from another family”, which represent an ideal kid who is better than you in every way. You will hear the “legend” stories of this kid from your parents, teachers, and relatives. After telling you the story, they always tell you that you should get good grades like him, be talented like him, get as many prizes as he gets. They give you peer pressure by creating a fake kid, but they don’t teach you HOW to be this kid. So, all we know is competing with others, while they don’t care how we win a competition. So if you tell me that I can win a game without effort just by using hacks, yes of course I will use it, the majority of our generation don’t care about the honor of efforts or the way we win, we just care about that we can win.
Now this is epic, a year back I though this would never ever be reached. I do wonder though, will more runs follow? Also now all vanilla challenges have been beaten, what do we do now 😅
It’s a massive game, but it mostly has a very casual fanbase. Also in general something like this isn’t as prestigious as for example a new any% world record would be even though it’s still pretty damn amazing.@@jstdun
46:59 blud... The amount of times this guy just stands an inch away from PV when he does the dive into sword spike pillars makes me anxious. I would have gotten hit every time trying to pull off a strat as aggressive as this
