I mie più calorosi complimenti per una manifestazione che direi unica. Non ho mai visto un parco mezzi storico così vasto, bravissimi a tutti, appassionati, restauratori ed anche al personale militare che ha messo in mostra l'alta professionalità. Ma brave soprattutto le persone del pubblico così numeroso...con famiglie e giovani per far conoscere che la storia, nel bene e nel male, è la base del presente e la strada che porta al futuro. Complimenti ancora.
At 17:26 you appear to show a crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons out of what might be an HL23X series engine. What's the story behind what went wrong with it? I can see one of the rods is badly bent, so the engine 'expired' at that point. I've read that tank crews had to be cautioned about over-revving these, as their maximum safe speed wasn't very high.

What was the overall lifespan of the engine before it was recommended for rebuild, I'm sure the transmissions and final drives failed before the engines unless it had a fire.
Overall maintenance was about every 100hours to be safe. If cared for the panther was durable. transmission and final drive issues were common with the D version, impoved versions were as reliable as a panzer 4
Nun ich denke das bei uns in Deutschland jede Straße Panzertauglich ist, sind ja nicht in Wladiwostok … Schließlich mussten ja darüber ganze Nato Armeen verlegen im Ernstfall.
